Book NowMy experience speaks for itself. From Drum Corp to being on tour to studio work to theater shows there really is not much I haven't played or taught, I focus a lot on how to practice because not many people really know how to practice the right way to get the most out of their performance.
About Greg
The way I teach is a little different than most teachers. Not many teachers actually teach how to practice and that seems like it's the biggest setback for new and experienced students. My experience with being on tour and with Drum Corps and theater work and Studio work I have learned that there a

Book NowBecause I studied abroad — across three continents (Australia, UK, USA), I have a more worldwide perspective on violin performance practice. I also bring a flexible approach to my discipline, since my focus in classical music encompasses both traditional and modern repertoire. I am very intimate with the art of performance, as I am an avid recitalist and collaborator.
I was a Teaching Assistance/Fellow at UCLA for three years, and I have taught privately for the better part of a decade. The main tenet in my pedagogical philosophy has always been to allow a student to express their own voice, and to cultivate the discipline around their unique expression.
About Xenia
I am a violinist originally from Sydney, Australia. I graduated from the Sydney Conservatorium with a Bachelor in Music Performance, a Masters from the Royal Academy of Music, London, and a Doctorate from UCLA. As a performer, I have performed in Australia, New Zealand, China, UK, Europe, and USA.

I have been playing guitar for over a decade and have tons of performance experience gigging in a local rock band. Combine that with a curriculum that starts with fundamentals and expands quickly into playing your favorite songs and you have a great start to beginning or expanding your guitar playing abilities.

My goal as a teacher is to make students successful in their goals. I work with a variety of people; some of them study music for personal enjoyment and others for their musical career. Everyone responds differently to music, that is why I prepare special lessons for each student. It is important that my students enjoy what they are playing and for that reason I have a variety of repertoire that they can choose from.
From a lot of experience with beginner piano students, both young and adults, I have been able to find a regimen of piano teaching that combines time efficiency with fun. As the lessons continue, I slowly add new tools to each weekly lesson that are exiting and interesting. While working with intermediate to advanced students, I have had coached them to apply and get accepted into some of the top Universities and Conservatories in the country. My students, beginner intermediate and advanced levels, have been awarded for their performances and activities in schools and ...

Mrs. Fegan is a great instructor, who can explain things on all levels to make sure your child is truly learning. She has a fun disposition and you can tell she really enjoys teaching. My son loves her, learns more than just the banjo at lessons. She is very patient, yet expects my son to do his part too. We have been with her for a year, and now my son has added Baritone lessons as well, because of the encouragement and support, and respect she gives my son. Best teacher we have ever had! I truly believe Mrs. Fegan could teach my son anything, because she teaches the way a person seems to learn at their own ability."
