Adam is a great teacher. He praises you for things you do properly and patiently tries to correct any mistakes. His song suggestions that would be used for practice try to highlight your voice as you apply the techniques you learned. They also sometimes take you out of your comfort zone to challenge you and expand your growth. Would highly recommend him as a teacher!

If you always dreamed of becoming a well-rounded vocalist, then you MUST know it takes more than just a great voice. All vocalists, no matter what level should understand the "make up" of contemporary music.

I specialize in Pop, R&B, Musical Theater, Spiritual, Gospel, and all other forms of contemporary music. I've been teaching voice technique for over 15 years and my students have gone on to travel the world performing as professional singers.

My course offers music theory (intervals, scales, harmony, etc.), ear training (time, rhythm, pitch using the solfege method, etc.), and voice studies (breath, technique, vocal care, etc.)—all knowledge that is tailored to you as a vocalist.

Having a strong music background will grants you the tools to know what is happening in the music that you hear, write, and/or sing. You'll be able to stand out as a more confident and capable musician and vocal performer. Hope to see you in class!

About Christine
“Give a man a fish, and you'll feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish, and you'll feed him for a lifetime." This is my philosophy of teaching.

I specialize in Pop, R&B, Musical Theater, Spiritual, Gospel, and all other forms of contemporary music.

I started performing on stage at the age of four years old. I began formal private lessons in voice and acting at the age of 10 at The Newark School of the Arts and at The Children’s Theater Workshop in Essex County, New Jersey. As a young teen, I also began directing and leading the youth and adult choirs in church. As a result of my commitment to my craft I had numerous opportunities to perform and record as an accomplished artist throughout the United States and abroad.

As an international performer my credits include touring throughout the country of China as a lead singer for the
state of the arts Thai City Theater. Other recent credits include working as a lead production singer for the renowned cruise line, Carnival; sailing the Western and Eastern Caribbean islands performing Las Vegas style production shows.

I am currently the CEO of my own entertainment company 2-4-1 Entertainment and mobile music school. I perform regularly for various commercial establishments and private venues.

I studied Music and Theater at Montclair State University earning a BA degree along with a teaching license in performing arts.

With all that said, I describes my greatest accomplishments as sharing my passion to sing to all who are willing to learn. I am as passionate about teaching as I am about performing.

*** Lesson Details ***
If you love singing, then you should love your lessons. Lessons with me are fun, challenging as well as enriching.

Instruction will include:

-Light stretching exercises to reduce tension and relax muscles that can block good vocal production and vocal freedom.

-Carefully listen to, accessing and giving you feedback about your vocal potential and growth

-Identifying vocal range and limitations

-Proper vocal techniques with respect to vocal scales, learning to breathe, pitch, tonality, durability and posture

-Selecting music collaboratively that suits your tastes and ability

-Working with professional backing tracks like many contemporary artists in the industry

-Lyrical interpretation with respect to performance

-Sharing the understanding of vocal anatomy and how it affects singing

-Allowing you to tape record lessons for practice purposes.

-Comfortable environments where asking questions are encouraged and making mistakes are simply part of the learning process.

-Teaching and practicing good vocal health, including the need to drink water and monitor the speaking voice

-Building confidence as a singer and performer

As much as I loves teaching and building relationships with voice students in my studio, I does not believe lessons should be limited to the classroom. The training process may include performing small venues for family and friends to acquaint the student to performing in front of an audience.

My goal is to teach students who have a desire to perform, the necessary rudiments of singing and performing so he/she can go out into the world and shine as a polished singer!

I have had not less than 10 voice coaches over a period of 15 years and not one single one of them is as thorough as Christine. I had my first lesson today and what impressed me the most is that she's started me how to apply vocal exercises to an actual song. She is also a fantastic communicator who is very good at breaking down complex concepts. She is very humble ....a trait thats hard to find these days. I enjoyed the lesson and she made me feel at ease. She really does know her stuff . I learned a lot today ... She really is a gifted teacher.

I'm a praise and worship singer, I really love singing for the Lord. But in most churches you get a lot of shouting and yelling and can cause vocal damage. I didn't want to be "that singer." So, I started studying voice under Ms. Christine. Boy! Did I get a good understanding of how the voice works. What to do and what not to do. Thanks so much for your knowledge and your compassion for singers like me!

From the first day I signed up with Ms. Christine, she called me and started asking me questions about my musical goals. All the music classes/lessons I've taken, no one has ever asked me what was important to me musically speaking.

I knew from the initial conversation, there was some "special" about this teacher. It wasn't just the subject of music but Ms. Christine's passion to give and share the gift of music. She explained her music course and her expectations of me as a student. I was given my 1st assignment before we even got started working together face to face.

This woman takes her craft very serious and I highly recommend Ms. Christine to any serious singer.

My approach is best defined with one word: natural. Everything about you is unique, including your voice. Imitating denies this simple fact. So I'm all about stripping away all imitation, getting you in touch with your voice and then making that signature voice of yours strong and flexible. Your voice should be as unique as you are. I work with all levels and if you don't like my lessons - I will give you your money back.

About Gabriel
Gabriel W. ("Musiciano") is a fiery and passionate vocal instructor proficient in the fields of acting, singing and vocal development. A professional singer, actor and teacher with a BFA in Theater Arts.

Gabriel doesn't just possess a formal college education, but more importantly an "informal" education based on his experiences on the stage and in the studio in the real world. Gabriel's approach is direct, simple and to the core, getting straight to the heart of the matter: developing the voice from the inside out by breaking things down to the essentials.

An expert at creating vocal warm-ups, vocal exercises, and vocal cool-downs and deeply passionate about psychology, this is your guy for learning to keep your voice in shape and having access to helpful insights and advice. Learn to cultivate a healthy attitude and how to create
and survive a career in the world of performing arts.

With a kind and compassionate, yet stern and strong tone, Gabriel will work with you to develop the focus and dedication necessary to get your voice beyond what you even knew was possible.

*** Lesson Details ***
Regardless of the genre you sing, developing your voice with Gabriel's help will improve your tone, range, power and overall ability. You can expect to become a much better singer without losing any of your personal and unique traits.

His approach isn't a technical or mysterious one. It's all about re-learning the facts about how the voice functions best.

You can expect to clear away a lot of confusions regarding how the voice works and to take away the guesswork from the vocal development process.

If you want to improve your voice quickly, being guided by someone who understands how it all works and by someone who was where you are today and is now closer to where you want to be in the future is the best way to go. And Gabriel is that guy!

Gabriel's approach is quite simple, yet very effective at developing the entire voice.

"There are two basic levels that every singer must address. The first one is addressing the condition of the body and voice and the second one is addressing the functioning of the voice and body."

I - Silent Foundation

The silent foundation refers to the condition of your instrument as it is silent. If we are looking at the body as an instrument that sings, we first have to make sure that our instrument is in good condition. How healthy is your instrument? Is it well rested, well hydrated and loose? Or is it tired, dehydrated and tense? As you could guess, the condition of your instrument will have a significant impact on the quality of the sounds you make. So the first thing to be addressed is how your instrument is before it starts making sound.

II - Conditioning of Singing Behaviors

This is when we get busy. Once we have a well rested, healthy, hydrated and relaxed instrument we can start working it out. The goal is to condition our singing behaviors to be reflexive, reliable and strong. The way to do this is through a series of vocal exercises that will condition your voice to respond to the desires of your heart. Whatever it is that you want to express will be possible once your instrument is conditioned to the point where there is no gap between what you want to express and your ability to do so. Learning to sing is all about learning how to express yourself without barriers. You should be able to develop enough range, power, control and skill so that you can express your heart without feeling like you'™re incapable of achieving what you pursue. To achieve these abilities training is often necessary.

I Havel
found throughout my 25+ years of teaching that learning to sing is much deeper than just singing. It is also learning confidence, how to become an artist how to develop and how to break through emotional blocks that we have all put on ourselves. It is a great way for children, teens, and adults to become stronger, happier, and more confident individuals not only in singing, but in their life. I have seen this confidence blossom over and over especially with my students.

About Elena
BIO: Elena started her musical studies at age 4, singing with the "New York City Opera Children Chorus". She studied at Manhattan School of Music. She studied in Hunter College and Queens College of the City University of New York and the Bejar Conservatory in Salamanca, Spain. She has performed in Carnegie Hall, Avery Fisher Hall and throughout Europe as a soloist. She had sung Mimi in La Boheme, High Priestess in Aida, Ines in Il Trovatore, in addition to singing other operas including Othello, Carmen, Mephistopheles, The Magic Flute, L'Italiana in Algeri, Le Nozze di Figaro. She has participated in the Master Classes of Alfredo Kraus and Monserrat Caballé and David Jones. She is currently under the vocal direction of David Jones who is the foremost voice teacher pedagogue. Ms. Diaz- Acosta has also directed summer performing arts pro

Our personalities just meshed. She knows how to make one feel comfortable. She is very encouraging to students with zero self confidence like me. I think I have found the teacher I’ve been looking for in Elena! i’m excited to see what she can do to transform my voice. Her resume as well as her reviews( students spoke highly of her character) are what stood out for me out of thousands of teachers online! Learn how the pros do it!

If you want to learn pop, I'll teach you the same techniques used by Lady Gaga, Christina Aguilera, Bon Jovi, Mick Jagger, and more... because I study with their teacher!

If you want to learn Opera, learn to tackle any audition, gig, or recording session just like Marilyn Horne did. I've got exercises from teachers at the Metropolitan Opera, San Francisco Opera, and from Marilyn Horne herself to get you right on top of your game!

I've been singing professionally for 16 years. I've sung my own show at Carnegie Hall. I was Gaston in the national tour of Beauty and the Beast and I never missed one of our 326 shows. I can get you on the Gaston regimen in as little as one lesson.

Please message me with your availability and describe your goals before you purchase a lesson.

About Christiaan
Christiaan is a multi-talented performer in theater, opera, and pop music. He played Gaston in the Broadway tour of Beauty and the Beast. Something of a bad boy, he was kicked out of Opera School for singing jazz, yet he went on to earn three music degrees, and work with opera legend Marilyn Horne and avant-garde composer Jake Heggie. Now he's in New York studying with Lady Gaga's teacher and singing his own arrangements of Ed Sheeran, Maroon 5, and John Mayer at Carnegie Hall while writing and recording pop songs in Nashville and the U.K. Look for his new single That's When You Know.

Christiaan enjoys seeing people succeed, so his approach to teaching is a combination of play and practice. Ultimately we sing because we want to bring people joy, yet to do so, we must hone our talents to perfection. By mixing the joy of music with disci
pline, we achieve our greatest dreams.

About Ilana
Hello! My name is Ilana. I am a professional classical singer, living and working in New York with both a BM and MM from Manhattan School of Music. My performance experience is available at my website and includes performances at Carnegie Hall, the Kennedy Center, and The White House, as well as at Ash Lawn Opera Festival, Castleton Festival, The Chautauqua Institution, and more.

Outreach and education is a particular love of mine and exposing children at a young age to the magic of music and the voice is especially thrilling.

Whether you are interested in pursuing a more advanced study of music or looking to simply expand your artistic sensibiliti

for the intricacies of Vocal Technique. I have built a private studio on the foundations of traditional bel canto technique with a strong emphasis on the Italian School.
