HI! I'm Emily and I am a professional actor/singer teaching voice lessons! With several years of teaching experience under my belt and an extensive music education, having gained a BFA in Musical Theater from the Cincinnati College Conservatory of Music, I work with all age groups and skill levels, emphasizing heathy vocal technique and focussing on creating a positive learning environment for my students. Whether you are someone taking voice lessons for the first time, or an advanced student looking to work on a specific goal(s), I craft my lessons specifically for the student. I love teaching others to sing and perform, and I've been doing so for over 20 years - through private lessons, music theater workshops, music schools and choruses. I work with students where they are at and help them to build a solid technique that works for them.

I have a passion for teaching people to sing to the best of their ability with the instrument they have been given! I want to teach others to sing like THEM, not like someone else or in a certain style, but to unlock their potential! There aren't shortcuts, but we can be relaxed, comfortable, and laugh on the journey to improvement! This is first and foremost a safe space to make mistakes and learn the correct way to use our bodies to sing. I have a bachelor's degree in music and performance from the University of North Georgia and have been teaching lessons for over eight years with students of all ages and backgrounds. I am excited to share what I have learned to help YOU sing to the best of your ability!

I am passionate about cultivating the next generation of singers and musical theater artists. I have experience working with children as young as 6 to adults in their 70s who love to sing. My lessons are entirely based on my students needs and are adaptable. I've taught students preparing for college auditions at top musical theater programs as well as students who just want to have fun and perfect their singing. Most of my lessons start off with a warm up that helps hone vocal technique and skills to practice throughout the week and then move into singing material of the student's choice. I am a musical theater actor who was working at theater's all around NYC and the USA before the pandemic hit. I have always been passionate about working with my students and will make time for them even when I am on contract.
