Prior to my lessons with Amanda, I had zero singing experience. I had never been in any choir, never worked with any instructor, and I only really sang during long car rides or occasional karaoke nights. While I had an interest in learning how to sing, I was not sure how to begin or if voice lessons were a good idea.

Well it turns out taking lessons with Amanda was not just a good idea - it was a great idea!

I've only had several lessons thus far, and I feel like I have already learned so much. Amanda works closely with you to understand "your" voice, and what areas you need to focus on. She is encouraging and enthusiastic, but also strives to bring out the best in her students. Amanda provides very specific feedback and tailors her lesson structure to suit your needs. She also provides plenty of great voice exercises to help you build a proper foundation for learning to sing.

What surprised me the most however was how much I've been enjoying these lessons. They are genuinely fun, and it's something I've been looking forward to each week. If you have any interest in learning to sing (regardless of your skill level) - then I highly recommend taking singing lessons with Amanda.

Eric tutored me throughout the 2016-2017 school year in AP Chemistry. Throughout the year I played competitive volleyball and Eric was always very flexible with scheduling and making sure he could fit me in- even if it was last minute.

I could tell that Eric generally cared about how well I understood each piece of material. No matter how long it took for me to understand he never gave up on me; if one explanation didn't make sense to me, then he would reinterpret it another way. Even during times throughout the school year when I was just so over chemistry, he pushed me and he kept me on track.

The impact that Eric had on me was incredible and I highly recommend his services. Without Eric's help, I know that I would not have been able to receive an A in this class or be able to manage all of my activities.

I learned more about the subject of chemistry then I ever wanted too.... AND I ended up passing the AP exam! Thank YOU Eric!

Eric recently played our baby grand piano during a Christmas party, and he was a delightful addition to the festive atmosphere.  He played for about 5 hours and skillfully performed a repertoire of holiday classics and a perfect mix of standard classics which added to the holiday flair.  We look forward to asking Eric to entertain our guests at a future festive party!

About Travis
I have 20 years of experience teaching in which I have taught band students from fifth grade through college. I have been an adjunct professor of a local college. Building relationships and using differentiated instruction with students has been a key element in guiding them to success. Students under my leadership have made the Texas All-Region Bands, Texas All-Area Bands, Texas All-State Concert Bands, and Texas All-State Jazz Bands.
I have taught jazz bands, theory, private lessons, and music appreciation courses in addition to teaching band classes.
In 2012, I created the Jazz Trombone Workshop geared for high school tenor and bass trombone players who are wanting to learn more about the art of jazz trombone. In the inaugural year, Grammy Award winning trombonist Mark Gonzales of the band Grupo Fantasma was guest clinician at th
e workshop.
Composing and arranging is a passion I have in addition to teaching. In 2013 and 2016, TJEA selected a jazz etude I had written to be used in the Texas All-Region/State auditions throughout the state of Texas. My composing and arranging can be heard on the several albums and am also a composer/arranger for orchestra, jazz bands, and small groups.
I am a member of the Texas Music Educators Association (TMEA), Texas Bandmasters Association (TBA), Texas Jazz Educators Association (TJEA), and Jazz Education Network (JEN).

About Adrian
A great teacher or mentor or even friend can help shape one's life. I have had the great privilege to have been taught by some of the best and brightest musicians around the world and know first hand how mentors can awe one with infinite possibilities and opportunities that await in the world of sound. I only aim to give back some of this magic, and keep this wonder alive and spreading among everyone.

I have been playing guitar since I was 11 years old, producing music since I was 12 years old and have been actively involved in the recording and live music scenes of Las Vegas since the age of 14. I attended the Las Vegas Academy as a Guitar Major and recently graduated with my Associates of Business degree from CSN. I'm now 20 years old, and although that may seem young, I have a wealth of experience and knowledge that I would absolut
ely love to share with you. I can teach anything from guitar, bass, vocals, drums, some beginner piano, music theory, production and so much more.

To learn something, you must become obsessed with the craft- I've been obsessed with this craft since before my mind could even conceive what I was hearing! What better way to learn is there than to jump straight into the madness with someone (yours truly) who is already obsessed and constantly learning new things about all music and sounds?!

Let me help you realize and actualize the musical potential that you never knew you had!
