I have been a professional singer since 1983 and have taught since 1986. I studied voice and trained classically from 1972 - 1982. Several of my students have been professional singers, from rock to opera. I teach the individual to understand the technicalities of the vocal instrument; how to breathe correctly, understand the internal acoustics and how to access them, how to project healthily, how to relax and get out of the way of using your instrument, and so much more. This is not your typical voice curriculum, but even more essential if you want to keep your voice in top form all your life. At 67, I can sing with or without amplification for several hours a day indefinitely because I have mastered the techniques I will teach you.

About Barbara

Singing is my life! I trained classically from 4/1972 - 4/83, then continued concentrated self study for 5 years. I sang for Voice of America and National Geographic Explorer specials before becoming voice coach for the MD Renaissance Festival. I have sung professionally since '83 and have taught

I use my classical background and commercial singing experience to help students learn a well-rounded vocal technique that's focused on healthy singing while finding the best stylistic techniques to really help you shine. I work with students who are preparing for auditions, aspiring towards professional success, or want to sound a little better rocking out in their car!

If you always dreamed of becoming a well-rounded vocalist, then you MUST know it takes more than just a great voice. All vocalists, no matter what level should understand the "make up" of contemporary music.

I specialize in Pop, R&B, Musical Theater, Spiritual, Gospel, and all other forms of contemporary music. I've been teaching voice technique for over 15 years and my students have gone on to travel the world performing as professional singers.

My course offers music theory (intervals, scales, harmony, etc.), ear training (time, rhythm, pitch using the solfege method, etc.), and voice studies (breath, technique, vocal care, etc.)—all knowledge that is tailored to you as a vocalist.

Having a strong music background will grants you the tools to know what is happening in the music that you hear, write, and/or sing. You'll be able to stand out as a more confident and capable musician and vocal performer. Hope to see you in class!

About Christine

“Give a man a fish, and you'll feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish, and you'll feed him for a lifetime." This is my philosophy of teaching. I specialize in Pop, R&B, Musical Theater, Spiritual, Gospel, and all other forms of contemporary music. I started performing on stage at the age of

Ms Christine really is called to teach. I can say this, based on my experience with her. She has several unique teaching qualities. For example, she is an expert at breaking singing concepts down so that they are easliy understood and more importantly, easily applicable in practical terms. I have experienced a lot of 'a ha moments' with her. She has helped me understand the technicality of my voice better. I know how to use my voice better, how to control my breath, how to apply my breath in singing to get the sound I want, and so many other things.

"I enjoyed taking lessons with Molly. I was skeptical about taking singing lessons online because I much prefer taking lessons in person. However, molly was able to provide feedback that helped me improve on my vocal techniques. She made me feel comfortable, which is important because vocal exercises can be at times strange, but necessary. I would recommend Molly for those who want to take lessons."
