I am a well-rounded drum teacher, meaning I have learned and studied genres ranging from blues, jazz, rock and indie rock. I will give you tons of music to listen to and interpret and teach you how to learn tunes by ear. You will understand the forms of jazz tunes such as aaba Aba and abc. You will learn how to play the tunes you listen to and take the concepts of drum beats and drum rudiments used within them o make them your own and use them in your original playing. I also teach how to read standard drum notation, and can teach you how time signatures work and the values of notes if you don’t already know.
Hi future students! I’m Eli. I know how tough it is to teach yourself an instrument, because I struggled with it for years and years. One of my biggest issues was learning how to practice, so if that’s something you struggle with, I can certainly help you develop a routine to which you would follow

I firmly believe that anyone can learn to sing beautifully. This is possible without a five-octave vocal range. Using the music that you love, I can teach you to sing the way you feel.
A former student of renowned voice teacher Taras V. Leschishin (of the Cleveland Opera Company, Boston Pops, and the Handel and Haydn Society), I can lead you to the threshold of your own mind.

I will provide fun and interactive exercises that help you master the basics of breath, posture, tone, diction, and the foundations of musicianship. Students will learn how to prepare a song and how to present a song in dramatic and interpretive form. Students will learn how to prepare for auditions and competitions (choral, solo, theatre role, etc.), and how to overcome stage fright and other challenges that are unique to live performance. He just left our house, like any other Saturday afternoon for three years now, and every time he leaves, I have the same feeling of putting my son’s musical knowledge in the best hands (ever).
Our son passed this year the Certificate of Merit in Piano with a perfect score, and we thank 100% Mr. Shapovalov for such success.
Mr. Shapovalov is a great pianist, educated, polite, and kind. Our son loves him like he was family, and his performance just gets better and better. It is unbelievable how much he improved working with Mr. Shapovalov.
Mr. Shapovalov organizes recitals, workshops, and pre-tests in order to prepare his students for the Certificate of Merit test. He takes proud in his students’ success and works with our son using multiple approaches, all of them orientated to make the lesson fun and useful, totally aligned with the Certificate of Merit test expectations.
I feel bad it took so long to write a review about this fabulous teacher. I guess I didn’t want to share our “treasure” with anybody else! But seriously: if you are looking for a committed, professional musician, and stellar teacher, all in one person… contact Mr. Shapovalov. Enjoy."
Two stars goes to the actual app because there was multiple times throughout the lesson we lost connection or where I couldn’t see the lesson."
Want to learn how to read guitar tabs? You’ve come to the right place. The traditional method of learning guitar involves scales, reading music, and other music theory skills. Think of guitar tabs as the Cliffs Notes version of guitar playing. Guitar tabs offer a brief and swift way to learn how to play songs. You’ll learn where to position your fi …
