Pedagogy is one of the few and rare professions that requires true vocation and conviction. I believe that teaching comes from sharing and I love to help each and every one of my students develop their own gift and understanding of music. I enjoy seeing my pupils progress and ultimately, finding their voice and telling their own story through music. My objective as a docent is to inspire students to develop high intrapersonal intelligence so that they may become their own best teacher.
It is my hope that my students will acquire tools that will not only help them become better musicians but that will also assist them in other areas of their lives.
The student will learn healthy ways of approaching the instrument. I guarantee the

We will work from the bottom up, starting with proper breathing and warm up exercises.
Scale work and technical drills are made fun through games and other means to keep things interesting :)
Repertoire work will be chosen according to experience level after basic assessment, we can work together to find something you enjoy playing.
Basic theory and music history will be addressed naturally as we work through new pieces!
I am more than happy to work on any other music you are currently playing for school or other ensembles.
Let's have fun and work hard!

their staff. I felt this was as important as the vocal coaching as my wife and I had no previous experience with music education. We are extremely fortunate and eternally grateful for what Michelle and Robert have done for our daughter’s life. If you’re looking for the complete package in vocal performance coaching, you’ve found them!!!"

Patience of a saint, really knows what he is doing. He has come up with a way to teach me at my own pace and level of understanding, yet ever so slightly helps push me to the next lesson. My confidence stays high!
I can not recommend Edwin enough, his style of helping me learn is top notch."

Julie is our first experience with a piano teacher. She has been instructing my somewhat shy 6 year old for about 9 months now. She is amazing with my daughter. She is very encouraging and stays right on her level while pushing her to expand her knowledge in music. I couldn't be more pleased in our first experience. Julie even had my daughter performing in front of an audience just 4 months after her first lesson. A memory my child will have forever."
