About Andrew
Obtained an Associates in Arts at Butler County Community College, El Dorado, KS.
Obtained a Bachelors in Music Education from Wichita State University, Wichita, KS.
I'm an accomplished accompanist and vocalist, with 10 plus years of expertise. Currently, I’m a volunteer worship leader at church, for over 6 years; helping other musicians fulfill their ultimate potential through training and education. Collaborate with other musicians for worship opportunities and projects. Been able to facility vocal training, how to lead a worship experience and which instrumentation and vocal concepts to are appropriate.
Played piano at Von Maur, for 6 months where I utilized my piano skills to provide entertainment and guest requests.
Currently have many different music students, where each week we assess their strengths that fulfill their
ultimate potential, through activities and diverse learning concepts.

*** Lesson Details ***
I believe that all musicians have the abilities to fulfill their ultimate potential; by assessing students learning styles, accessing community resources and just having fun learning musical concepts.
Curriculum examples that I would utilize for piano would be Adventures in Piano and Succeeding at the Piano. For the vocal students I utilize Exceptional Musicianship, created by Hal Leonard for accurate vocal techniques.
Within 3 months the students will have opportunities to demonstrate their musical abilities. I will provide opportunities for students to demonstrate musical expertise through recitals and other events.

*** Studio Equipment ***
Main Room: electric keyboard (full 88 keys), couch, TV, and a chair, book cases, parents can sit in the lesson (encouraged)

*** Travel Equipment ***
The expectation is that the students must have access to a piano and audio equipment for their success.

*** Specialties ***
The musical genres I'm an expert include Broadway, Show Choir, Faith-Based, Classical, Jazz, Pop, Performing Arts, Acting, Staging, Costuming, Props. I believe that students need to have access with various musical styles that will aid their musical abilities.

My daughter was burnt out with her old piano teacher playing the same old songs over and over. Andrew has reinvigorated her love of playing again. He inspires her to play outside the box and getting her to practice is no longer a fight.

I am a worship pastor and having been singing and playing guitar for 15 years. I had never had any formal training before this. I wanted to learn some proper technique in order to protect my vocal instrument for my lifetime. I also wanted to work on some technical aspects of my singing and improve my skill and vocal control. Andrew has been a great instructor. I have learned a lot from him and I really enjoy our lessons.

I wasn't sure I could find a piano instructor that would help me with my busy schedule, but never hurts to ask. I am so glad that I did, because Andrew is amazing! He helped me with my schedule issues and has really inspired my 7 year old boy to really perform his best! Matthew has been been taking lessons for over a year now. He can't wait to see Andrew each week! Matthew has so much fun learning, that his little brother, Alex gets in on the action too. This has been the best experience for me and my two boys, learning how to play the piano! He brings the excitement and joy of learning!

About Susanne
At the age of 12, I discovered what an amazing and versatile instrument the piano can be, and have been studying it, as well as eventually teaching others about its possibilities, ever since. I have had the privilege of playing for a variety or groups and soloists, as lead pianist for many musicals with many different theater groups, playing worship music for my church, accompanying choirs from professional through high school groups, going to various music festivals, playing with orchestras and in professional bands and much, much more! I want to share this wealth of knowledge and experience with my students, and help them succeed in whatever type of music they most enjoy playing.

I "study" each student and adjust my teaching style to fit their learning style. I make sure my students know the basics of note reading, rhythm and theo
ry, and then expand the instruction to include whatever most inspires them; classics, Christian, jazz, improvisation, playing by chord or anything else. I set a very specific practice plan for each student every week, so that - with regular and precise practice at home - each student can achieve great results.

About Michael
I have been professionally trained in music theory, guitar, and other other instruments. I have acquired the essential tools/skills to become an excellent musician. I am fluent in both electric guitar and in classical guitar and I am also experienced in performing in front of an audience as I have played numerous shows as a local artist and a few recitals for classical guitar. I also have a good base of knowledge when it comes to gear for performing, including tube amps, amp modelers, DAWs, strings, picks, etc.

My method of teaching starts with the assessment of where the student's current level of comfort with the instrument is. After that, we go over the students goals and the most efficient ways to achieve them! The exercises are concise and will incrementally get more difficult, as to not overwhelm the student. Often times, aspir
ing musicians will get bored from practicing nonmusical exercises or they will become frustrated from attempting to play pieces that are above their skill level. The way I combat this is to put the emphasis on PLAYING! Practicing will always be incredibly important, but if you're not having fun, then what's the point?!

About Nick
Hi my name is Nick and I am a multi-instrumentalist, audio engineer, and composer. Music is a passion in my life and nothing makes me happier than to see others enjoy it as much as I do. Music is one of the most important things in my life. If I am not playing, writing, or recording music, I am usually trying to discover new music to listen to.

With half my life dedicated to writing and performing music I received my degree in audio engineering from the Conservatory of Recording Arts and Sciences in 2010. When i am not teaching private lessons locally, I am currently a Kinder - 5th Grade Elementary Music Specialist in my public school district.

I have 6 years experience in performing in alternative, rock, metal, EDM, cover bands, and worship bands as a Acoustic Rhythm Guitarist, Lead Electric, Rhythm Electric, Bass Guitar, Piano
/Synth, Drummer, and Lead Vocalist. I have a soundcloud page with material from my past bands and I have an EDM album "Neuro Method" on iTunes and Spotify that I wrote, produced, and recorded in 2012.

I currently have students learning guitar, bass, drums, piano, ukulele, and recorder.

If you are looking to start something new, relearn something you forgot, or take your music to a new level I can help lead you down the right path.
