I love teaching people of all ages, both child and adult students and also believe in making lessons fun and engaging. We will work on technique, scales, long tones, basics of how to play and read music but I also like working on songs that interest students. Whether it's classical, jazz, or top 40 songs I want to find what makes music special to each student!
I am a musician with an equal passion for performing and teaching. I have taught ages 8-80 at all levels from beginner to advanced. I believe in the importance of teaching a strong core of music fundamentals but I also want to find what makes music special for each individual student. I believe les
Kendra is wonderfully, broadly trained, and very effective at working with me on everything from embouchure and fingerings to maximizing effectiveness of practice. She is ALWAYS upbeat, supportive, friendly, PATIENT, and helpful - and I've always looked forward to our lessons. She is very good at figuring out how to be helpful, and how to keep the joy in music even while working on technique, and at my request, music theory. I could not have enjoyed the experience more, or been more successful, than with Kendra.

I believe that voice lessons are for everybody! Through voice lessons, we form valuable mind-body connections, gain confidence, and blow off steam. The ability to express is a valuable life skill, as is thinking creatively, and singing lessons cultivate these skills. Through singing, we grow as people, and become more in touch with ourselves and the world around us.
I have experience teaching all ages, from young beginners to advanced collegiate performers. I have taught a wide variety of styles and genres, including classical, musical theatre, jazz, pop, and rock. I believe in teaching holistically- using the whole body and mind in sound production

like to meet students where they are in their musical journey and help them reach their goals. I let the student set their own pace for mastering new skills and work in the learning style that helps them obtain the most benefit from the lessons. I think leaning music should be fun and encouragement is key.
Matt studied music education at Shepherd College and West Liberty State College. He has performed in jazz clubs and concert venues in the United States and Italy. Past performances include playing for Rock and Roll Hall of Fame groups such as The Impressions, Little Anthony, and The Tymes. Addition

Heather is a wonderful teacher. She has patience, kindness and puts me at ease when I play for her. She makes me laugh, too!"
He is an accomplished musician and outstanding teacher, always patient, encouraging, and professional. He brought me through the very early stages of the violin as a beginner student, to now playing first violin in the community orchestra.
He has not only helped me become a better musician, but has been very knowledgeable in bringing me through the rough times of bowing, tuning, and even selecting the appropriate violin, strings, and accessories.
Dustin has the sensitivity to understand the student's level of ability and skill, and he creates a path for improvement. Lessons are always challenging and fun.
I highly recommend Dustin to any student who is serious about learning music, and especially to those to aim to be proficient on their instrument."
Rick is more than just an instructor. He is someone who will serve as a coach, mentor, and friend for his students. I can't recommend him enough."
