While the foundation for all styles of singing is essentially the same, I specialize in teaching contemporary styles (as opposed to classical singing). Contemporary styles such as rock, pop, blues, gospel, country, jazz and Latin have very different styling than classical singing and as such once correct basic vocal technique is established it should be taught very differently than traditional classical singing. I'll help you get power, more range (to be able to sing higher and lower) pitch control (to sing mor ein tune), better tone, more musicality and versatility through a combination of exercises and learning the songs that you love.
About Ricardo
I have been a professional musician and teacher all my adult life. Music is my passion and has always been how I make a living. I teach piano/keyboards, guitar, voice, bass and ukulele. I studied classical piano at SUNY at Buffalo and I initially learned to play guitar and singing on my own. Years

I craft my lesson plan individually for the student based on their level and what they hope to get out of the lesson
Not a one size fits all technique
Some students might want more vocal.exercises and working on technique and less time on a particular song they want to learn
Other students might want to spend more time working on an individual song than working on vocal.exercises
About Cynthia
