The most important aspect of vocal training that I will emphasize is breath control and support. Connecting to the body when singing will ensure vocal protection and prevent any unwanted vocal strain. Once we have worked on technique through various scales and breathing exercises, I will teach them how to apply these elements of singing to their repertoire. When we work on repertoire, I try to alternate between technical practice and artistic expression. I want to make sure the student is having fun, communicating their art, and discovering their own unique artistic identity, which I believe to be the most important aspect of being a singer! I will provide my students with new challenges each week and help them to gain new tools to practice healthily and efficiently.

Over the past 12 years, we've given over 3,000,000 lessons to happy customers around the world.

Ms. Brookins has been my voice teacher for over 8 years now, I have had no problems out of her, shes always available, shes an easy teacher, and very affordable. She is very funny, and when she sees that you are starting to get frustrated she'll crack a joke to make you feel better! She takes out the time to find the music, books, and songs that fit you, and she makes sure when you leave practice that you are prepared and ready to preform, or do whatever it is that you have to do."

You can tell Lawrence loves music and his passion for it is contagious."

We've all had one at some point or another - a bad audition. You prepare like crazy for that singing competition that you swear up and down you're going to nail. However, despite 30 minutes of scales first thing in the morning and an entire day in line spent practicing, you walk into the audition with your head held oh-so-high only to walk out feeling like your head was handed back to you on a lovely silver platter. Below are a few singers who didn't quite measure up to the singing competitio …
