My mission is to help students reach their fullest potential as singers and to build their confidence in the process. Lessons focus on each student as an individual and can encompass anything from vocal technique and song repertoire to audition coaching and even recording sessions to help the students with a project or to help them simply hear the subtleties in their voice more clearly as they train and grow.

*I teach breath support in a way most teachers do not. I help students gain strong abdominal muscles and teach them how to use them to sing with more power and control. Rather than releasing the belly (as most teachers recommend) I show students how to breathe into their backs and use all three lobes of the lungs (upper, middle, lower). We shall begin with developing strength in your diaphragm then diaphragmatic breathing and techniques (you will need to practice at home after lessons). Then on to studying breath control, proper vowel enunciation, strengthening all muscle groups, pitch matching and control; flow of breath control, some anatomy, etc.

I'm currently a doctoral student majoring in voice in the US with over 10 years of experience teaching voice and piano to students of various levels.

My voice students do not just learn to sing, they learn to connect, with their diaphragms and resonators, with their songs, and with their teacher and audience. The greatest singers of all time learned to do this and I teach the same timeless classic techniques that they learned.

I have a degree in vocal performance and began voice lessons with Don Bennet, a co-singer of Pavarotti. After years of singing experience and reading the books of the great singers, I have developed a full picture of the beautiful instrument of voice. Let me share the knowledge and exercises with you that will enable you to truly free your most beautiful voice.

Hi All!

For those of you out there who are unsure about whether lessons are for you, or worried in general about singing in front of other people, I'm here to tell you that not only do I think you can do it, but I think you will end up surprising yourself and your loved ones with the talent that you have.

The goal for every lesson is to make sure you become comfortable with mistakes, comfortable working through the process, and proud of the results you get at the end. This is a lesson with no judgement and no expectations other than for you to be you and give it your best shot. There is no homework due at each lesson and I will always provide the most patient and supporting atmosphere possible.

I teach all styles of singing and songwriting, and can integrate styles based around a student's goals. I am active as a vocalist in the vocal world, as a vocalist for Chaka Khan (10 Grammy Award Winner), Bill Withers (3x Grammy Award Winner), and more. As a graduate from the University of Southern California's prestigious Popular Music Program, I have studied both vocal technique, as well as performance (stage presence, lyric memorization, songwriting) and more for Pop Music, R&B/Soul, Country, Indie-Folk, Rock, Jazz, and more, which allows me to professionally teach this styles as well. My original music has been featured on HBO, TVLand, and more. I apply the knowledge from my own experiences as an active professional to my student's lesson's by enabling them with the tools to expand their voice technically, while also then applying their new skills to to any career pursuit.
