About George

Hi, my name is George. I am available to teach electric or acoustic guitar and bass either at my place or yours.

I have played both electric and acoustic guitar for 18+ now and attended Musicians Institute in Hollywood, CA where I played with many talented individuals and learned from some of the best teachers.

Along the way I kept my bass guitar on my side and became proficient in the instrument as well.

I love playing several styles and my favorites are classic rock, hard rock, and blues.

I have taught guitar before but I found my knack for teaching by instructing Brazilian jiu-jitsu, another one of my hobbies.

I would love to teach guitar again not just because of the new knowledge I’ve attained but I just like it and learned I know how to be in tune with what a student needs at the moment.

George was so patient with me. I knew absolutely nothing about playing guitar and I learned exactly what I needed. He gave me the confidence I needed to learn the guitar.George is an amazing guitar player and I feel fortunate to have him as my instructor. I loved my lesson and can't wait for the next.

About Holly

As a professional performer, teacher and master teacher with a Master's degree from Peabody Conservatory of the Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor's degree from California State University, Chico, I have performed with orchestras, chambers groups and choirs throughout the United States and Europe.
Comfortable in both classical and musical theater genres, my knowledge of vocal production and the musical skills needed to succeed in music make me an excellent teacher. I pride myself in having a great ear and instinctual understanding of each student's individual instructional needs.

Before relocating to Houston, I owned and operated a successful full-time private teaching studio in the Atlanta area with voice students succeeding in All-State Chorus, the Governor's Honors Program, college auditions, local competitions, community thea

ter, and school chorus auditions. As a successful soloist and vocal instructor, I pride myself in teaching proper technique, nurturing each student's vocal development, helping singers develop a true love of music, and gaining an appreciation of their unique vocal gifts. Many of my vocalists learn the skills of reading music by learning keyboard and basic theory through piano lessons, which I am also able to teach.

With a creative and personable teaching style, I am able to connect with each student where they need to be met. My students of all ages see an immediate improvement when applying the techniques that I share with them. Focusing on healthy vocal production, good breath support, and proper techniques of support and vowel placement, I am able to help students reach their musical goals through vocal exercises and drills, direct application to selected music, and assigned home practice between lessons. After learning the basics of vocal production, we can further focus on interpretive elements of the songs and students will feel the rewards of making beautiful music with their own free and unique sound.

About Michele

I've been teaching piano for 26 years and my students have gone on to develop a love of music with life long skills that have brought them to the stage & recording studios, awards in the Musical Theater Industry, conservatories and sharing their music on a daily basis with confidence and joy! Within the first few lessons, you'll be able to understand how to read and comprehend music in much the same way you read a book and as time goes on you'll be able to use these skills to fuel a large repertoire in any style of music. I specialize in Classical, Pop, Broadway and New Music, typically use Faber&Faber Books for beginning pianists, and on to the Royal Conservatory of Music Syllabus and Main Stream Repertoire to support each style of music and have the following tools available for your lessons: Books, Worksheets, Charts and more! I love

working with eager students of all ages and experience levels, including those who have years under their belt and would like to improve their skills and I can't wait to meet you!

I was recommended by a friend to have Michele as a piano teacher. I was recently retired and available to follow my dreams of playing the piano. Michele more than filled my expectations as I found enjoyment playing classical and favorite tunes.
She is wonderful!

Michele is more than a fantastic musician, although she is that as well. She has a deep understanding and love of music which is demonstrated in her teaching, her composing and her playing. What sets her truly head and shoulder above all the teachers I’ve had, several as a child and three as an adult, is her ability to tailor lessons to deepen knowledge. She is very attuned to her student and will adapt her teaching techniques if a student doesn’t learn well initially. She is comfortable with a wide range of musical styles from classical and jazz to pop and even throws in a rap beat when called for. Michele would be an excellent teacher for any student, young, mature, beginner to advanced because she has both a gift for music and a gift for teaching and connecting with students.

Michele is a sensitive fun loving player and composer who also brings so much kindness and understanding to her students. I know because I was one of them along with my kids. She's passionate and serious without being stuffy!
We love her.

About Moldir

My approach is to respond to the needs of the individual student. With beginners, I initially assess the student’s musical ear and use games and other fun exercises to introduce fundamental elements of music theory. At the same time, I work with the beginner to establish a foundation of good habits when relating to their instrument, whether it is piano or violin. With more advanced students and those preparing for auditions and competitions, I encourage careful attention to intonation, rhythmic accuracy, and expressiveness.

"Arlys is an exceptional teacher and an amazing person. My daughter, Erin, is taking voice lessons with her, but so much more. Arlys is helping Erin find h
er pitch making incredible progress the first day) and gain confidence, decreasing her anxiety. She knows exactly what Erin needs to build her skills and continue growing. We feel like we have found a friend and a mentor in one beautiful person, inside and out! Thank you, Arlys, for being so incredible."

"As an adult learner, I was intimidated by the prospect of learning the cello because it’s such a demanding instrument, but Arlette has put these apprehens
ions at ease. She is wonderfully experienced which gives the student a very solid foundation; essential to playing the cello well. Highly recommend her as an instructor for any aspiring cellist."

"Solid Friendly Moldable - Genuine

Eric, is a wonderful guy to work with. He is thorough and goes above an beyond the call of duty. I could tell that he r
eally cared about what he was teaching me and WANTED me to be the best I could be. He is ultra genuine and down to earth. Everything I learned from him has been vital in the paid gigs I've received as a guitarist and also in my own passion projects."

"Effective and Fun!

I am a woman in my 40s with very little formal vocal training. I sing very part time in a cover band (mostly 80s & 90s rock). I have h
ad weekly half-hour singing lessons with Arlys for the past 16 weeks. In just this short time, I have experienced a dramatic transformation in my voice and confidence. I have learned how to warm-up my voice, stand and breathe correctly, form vowel sounds to enhance pitch and tone, transition more easily through chest and head voice, and I have added at least 4 notes to the upper end of my “performance range.” My stamina has increased as well. I can now easily sing without tiring or vocal fade-out for 90 minutes or more. Arlys’ strengths are her knowledge of how anatomy affects the voice, her ability to explain techniques in a variety of ways (so that at least one of them clicks for me), a prodigious sense of humor, flexibility, and a passion for both teaching and her own continuous learning. Arlys is delightful, and I wholeheartedly recommend her for anyone who wishes to sing better, especially shy singers, young people, and those who need to know “why” or “how” something works."

"I feel confident working with Tanisha. During my first lesson, we did breathing exercises and she chose a song for me to practice. She helped me learn the
song because she noticed that it's a great fit for my voice and genre. Tanisha encouraged me to use the song as guide so I can practice matching the pitch. Tanisha sang along with me while she listened to my voice. She knew exactly how to improve my vocal performance right on the spot. Her tips and teaching made my voice sound beautifully efforless. With Tanisha's help and encouraging words I know I can achieve a dream I've been working and praying for."

"Nicole is committed to teaching a full appreciation for the violin. Despite the fact that my daughter has yet to play a note in her lesson, she has learne
d a tremendous amount & will be properly prepared in technique, form, tone & overall knowledge to play with confidence. Although my daughter hoped she'd be playing by now, she's become even more motivated to practice now that she understands there is so much more to the violin than playing a song. We look forward to seeing our daughter grow under Nicole's direction."
