Charles has been great with my early skill development. He continues every week to stress the basic for my violin training. He remains supportive and patient. We have had lessons in person and online. I am beginner at 65 years old and I would highly recommend Charles Bossert as a violin, and other strings instruments instructor. Thank You Charles for your help.

I love it!

Charles is very professional, kind and friendly. My 9 year old is trying to learn Bohemian Rhapsody on his viola for a talent show and Charles has been very helpful, guiding him through the music with positive reinforcement. We tried a couple other instructors but it wasn't the right fit. Super pleased we found Charles. Look forward to many more lessons to come.

I have a Doctor of Music Arts degree in Saxophone Performance and 6 years of teaching experience working with beginners in 5th/6th grade through college music majors. As a performer, I play classical recitals, big band swing dance gigs, festivals, and more. As a teacher, I focus on what the student wants to learn - anything from basic foundation skills; scales and technique; theory; improvisation; and relevant repertoire. I place an emphasis on relaxation and removal of tension from the body which will dramatically improve the student's playing abilities.

Nick is very knowledgeable and proficient on saxophone, and a dedicated and patient teacher. No matter your level, there’s always more to learn, and I highly recommend Nick for your private instruction.

Nick Stow! I learned a great deal from his private lessons. He understands how to gradually work into good and exceptional habits for practicing as well as performing. I only wish to have had more of an opportunity to perform with and learn from these lessons. As I said, it takes time and patience to come to the skill level Nick is at, but he'll work with you to grow a level you can start to excel at.
Sid
I have been playing the saxophone for over 50 years without a long term period between active playing. Nick has been very effective in my playing ability and I have learned a great deal from him.

Hi! First, I will ask for your experience not only with piano but with music. We will work on posture, playing technique and reading. Because of my tutelage, my default material for beginners is Suzuki Book 1 which you can either purchase yourself or I can bring one for you. If you have other music material that you would like to work on, I am happy to use that instead. Then I will assign you homework which you will need to practice on your own in preparation for then next lesson.

About Charlotte

Hello! I began studying piano when I was 4 through the Suzuki method and started teaching when I moved to San Francisco to start school. I am dedicated to the Suzuki method and believe in it; in case you're unfamiliar with the Suzuki method, it's a way of approaching music that focuses on fundament

I believe that learning music should be as fun and inspiring as it can be to play. We all have a vast wellspring of creative energy within us, and the goal of the relationship between the student and the teacher is to help nurture and develop that latent talent. For this reason, my approach to teaching music is highly individualized. I start out with the premise that the student has unique gifts and my job is to help them discover what those are, and develop and refine them in order to make beautiful and deeply satisfying music, through whatever instrument and in whatever style they are drawn towards.

Depending on one's starting level of experience, some basic exercises will be assigned to develop core skills, with increasing levels of technical challenge and complexity. Elements of music theory will be woven into practical lessons. Students will have the choice to incorporate material from popular and familiar music into their studies, and as they progress they will be encouraged to

I Googled "guitar teacher, Roseburg, OR" and low and behold, Sean showed up and boy I'm glad he did!!! Sean and I hit it off instantly and the things I wanted to get better at (finger picking, hammer(s) on and off, picking the notes within chords, etc.) Sean was completely versed in! Long story short... I couldn't be happier with Sean as a teacher and as a person he's totally cool as well! I recommend Sean unequivocally and if you want to start to play guitar or even get better as I do, Sean is your guy, no doubt about it!!!

I really enjoy taking Korean lessons with Jihye. For each class, we spent around 30mins to study grammars and vocabulary from text books, and for the last 15-20 minuets we would do conversations in Korean, so I get to practice my Korean speaking skills. We would talk about Korean dramas, Korean cultures, food and she would teach me recent slangs in Korea! It was super fun!! Jihye is very professional in teaching Korean. I would recommend her to anyone who loves Korean cultures and would like to have great improvement in Korean.

"Ms. Lorna is a wonderful teacher

We are thankful for the opportunity to have Ms. Lorna teach our kids the piano. We have a seven year old girl, who started with Ms. Lorna when she was five, and a four year old boy. Our kids love Ms. Lorna and so do we. She is great with our kids and the only person who can keep our four year old interested in something for more than 5 minutes. We have seen our kids learn and grow with Ms. Lorna."
