I have been a vocal coach for many years and am passionate about helping my students reach new levels in clarity, range, stage presence and any other vocal strength they wish to acquire!

About Gina

I have been a singer for over 15 years and have been a vocal coach for over 9. I had 9 years of vocal training, which I have worked to transition into a teaching style of my own. I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Theatre and Vocal Performance. I have a good ear for vocal difficulties and a goo

Gina’s wonderfully encouraging and is helping me take the skills I already have and fine tuning them. She’ll listen to me sing a song the whole way through and then we’ll go back and work on specific sections. She gives good pointers and can give me vocal exercises to try to fix a specific problem. I like that we use YouTube karaoke videos because I can choose any song with a karaoke version and I can use the same video to practice at home as I do with her.
Joy
A wonderful person and fabulous singer! Gina is incredibly talented and super helpful, kind and encouraging to kids! Highly recommended!

I want to inspire my students of all ages to reach their potential as musicians. I work with my students on sheet reading, key and time signatures, developing an understanding of harmonic and tonal concepts, and proper technique. My lessons are tailored to the student’s interests, goals and skill level.

About Lilan

I started my classical music training at four years old and continued formal lessons until high school. I grew up in a very musical household as my father is also a professional musician. Through my formal training and my further study, I have built up a substantial knowledge of music theory. A

Lilan is an excellent piano instructor with her professional skills and years of playing experience. She provided me with practical guidance on my playing skills as well as the emotion in the performance with her on-stage performance experience. She is also a responsible instructor. She will play the chapter by herself to let me better understand the performance. Thanks to her professional instructions and patience, my playing skills have been improved a lot. I will recommend Lilan to everyone who would like to expect an improvement on their playing skills as well as receiving great instruction experience.

I cannot recommend Lilan highly enough as a piano teacher. She is calm, patient, and dedicated in making sure you learn both the basics of piano and intricacies of any piece you want to play. She is also an excellent pianist - check out her videos on this page! Thanks, Lilan!

I’ve been delighted with my lessons with Semyon from day one. I had studied classical piano as a child but took a hiatus of several decades, and was somewhat nervous about starting up again. Semyon has put me at ease, and is so enthusiastic and encouraging, it’s contagious. He also has a focus on technique that I was looking for (scales and Hanon so far, which I know I need!). He knows his stuff but doesn’t overwhelm me with too much too soon. As an adult student, I couldn’t be more pleased with my choice and highly recommend him.
Patricia
As a retiree who has recently returned to piano after a decades-long hiatus, I knew I’d need a teacher with experience teaching adults. Semyon is proving to be excellent. He is a skilled musician and teacher whose approach combines enjoyable piano pieces, exercises for agility and the fundamentals of scales and theory. He is patient and responsive to what I want to accomplish. I have learned in each lesson, seen improvement each week, and enjoy the diversity of assignments. In short, i’m having a grand time and highly recommend him.

Very patient and seems to enjoy teaching

I bring 42 years of experience as a performer and teacher to my lessons.
What I have learned in the world of performing I incorporate into my lessons, always based on the personal needs and goals of each individual. All are different and deserve the personal tailoring of their education to fit their needs. I use recorded materials as examples and as accompaniments as well as have materials both printed and other available to be shared with the student. I like to touch on all styles of music and at all levels. The student will learn breathing techniques, tone development, finger and articulation techniques, range development, improvisation, melodic interpretation, jazz study, and much more. There will even be music and trumpet history mixed in on occasion.
Mostly it's about enjoyment of trumpet and music and how our lives are enriched by them. Lessons in music are lessons in life.

"David is very pleasant to work with and will spot any notes that are missing or that does not balance with the rest. Phrasing and intonation are important.
I was given techniques to better prepare exercises and studies. Davis will suggest tools to improve playing: method books, reading, videos and work sheets.
I always start my lessons with a series of questions I have prepared for him and he has so many comments on all of my questions.
Having a world-class teaching like David Blumberg is gold to me. I am past 68 now and I have never had so much fun working with my clarinet."

"I have four children, all take lessons from Carolyn. We’ve been with her for 12 years, since my oldest started in 2nd grade. She’s now teaching my youngest.

All of my children have progressed nicely. Carolyn allows the kids to play various types of music once they past the beginner stage. . My son, who has only taken a couple of years, has mastered Bohemian Rhaposody which is no small feat!

She has two recitals a year and is understanding if a lesson needs to be switched every now and then.

I highly recommend Carolyn."
