About Anastasia
After Anastasia’s Carnegie Hall Debut in 2006, the New York Concert Review wrote: "For a critic, hearing a new pianist with a truly warm, luscious tone is like breathing in the scent of jasmine blooming - a pleasure to be recalled again and again - and so I'm happy to report that from the first not

Book NowI have been teaching professionally for the past six years. As a student who struggled myself in nearly every aspect of education, I understand the importance of individualized learning. As a teacher and performer, I look to find relationships between the emotional and intellectual facets of music. By doing this, I try to uncover the mystery of violin playing, allowing my students to gain an understanding that will last with them forever.
Every single student posseses the potential to fulfill his or her violinistic dreams. I cater my teaching around the goals of each student, while still instilling a high artistic integrity.
Though I center each lesson around building a superior technical foundation, duet playing, the theory of harmony, and aural skills are integral parts of my teaching. I strive for my students to develope a beautiful, in-tune, pure sound that can directly connect to their own emotional palette.
About Thomas
Hailed as "delightfully spirited, [with a] rich tone" (Cleveland Classical) violinist Thomas Cooper has appeared as a soloist with several American orchestras, including the Colorado College Festival Orchestra, the Coeur D'Alene Symphony Orchestra, the Credo Baroque Orchestra, the Dubois Orchestra

Book NowBasically, meeting the student's need in the exploration of Music. The 3 important elements in any Musical example are rhythm, harmony and melody. These core elements are present irregardless of the style whether it be traditional, contemporary or Jazz.Whatever genre the student chooses ,these elements are fundamentally present. My aim is not to necessarily channel them to become professional musicians ie practicing scales and technical exercises daily but to introduce them to lets say ----what is a chord, what melodic line fits nicely over that chord, what's----the meter? Is it in 2 ,3 or 4.etc.I also encourage my students to attend concerts, performed by children their age.Music is first an aural tradition.Listening and seeing others performed excites the musical journey.

Musical Theater is an area of Music that I love to teach. Each year my Students perform in a "Musical Review" that I put on and are in a myriad of Musical Productions throughout their studies. Students have performed in many Musical Theater Companies and are currently in a number of productions at the same time. I help them with this process, from auditions, to preforming to the best of their abilities in whatever they choose to be a part of. It is a joy to go their performances and see the progress they make!

My goal in teaching is to make my students not just good saxophonists, but better musicians in every aspect. I like to discuss the music with students, get them to think about the music in new and interesting ways, teach how to practice and philosophies for approaching musical styles, and the theory behind the music. Students can expect all of this and more while having fun and being able to express themselves through the music they want to play.
Students are expected to have their own saxophone for all lessons.
About Eddie
Hello there, I'm Eddie! Music, since the first time I picked up the saxophone, has been the passion of my life. I almost always have an instrument in my hands or have music coming out of my speakers. I earned my degree in performance from the University of Miami in 2012. As part of my undergraduate

Playing the flute has given me so much joy, and it is my dream to pass that joy along to others. Music lessons can offer you so much more than a new skill or getting better at an instrument; they can improve your mental health, your confidence, and even help kids do better in school! Good music teachers teach their students how to find beauty in everything, to think more critically, and to see mistakes as opportunities for growth. These three ideas are at the core of my teaching philosophy. In all my lessons, beginner to advanced, students learn how to make beautiful music, sight reading, basic music theory, and safe practice strategies. We work out of the Rubank method book, but I also utilize handwritten exercises. I also always encourage my students to bring music they want to learn!
Absolute Beginners: In our very first lesson, students learn the parts of the flute and how to make a sound. We learn about flute care, and how to correctly hold the flute. Basic music theory is ...
