Each lesson will consist of a unique and personalized curriculum to fit the student’s needs. This will be done at a pace that allows for confidence to be built and a complete understanding of the material. Each student is taught the basic skills of guitar so that they can become an independent and self-sufficient musician with a strong fundamental foundation. Crucial skills such as reading music, scales, various chords, and more will be taught in each lesson. Each lesson will be just as enjoyable as it is informative. After all, “pleasure in a job puts perfection in the work”. That is why I ask each Student to bring a song or piece that he/she enjoys working on. Overtime, all the skills learned will allow students to play with confidence!

I'm a professional singer, actor and voice teacher living and working in NY. I work with students on building a solid vocal technique and developing healthy singing habits. Working together we will develop the skills required to hone your craft and help you reach your full potential as a singer. I believe it is never too early or too late to study voice. If you are looking to prepare for auditions and/or performances, we will work on "acting the song" and interpretation as well!

As a Result, I have found myself quite often approaching Vanessa for advice on both Musical-Theatre & Drama since the time we were classmates. Needless to say, Vanessa is born for Musical-Instruction. She has always provided me with both honest and encouraging input. I especially appreciate her unique approach to channeling our Personal-Vulnerability into ART.
I therefore highly-recommend Vanessa for Music-Lessons. She will certainly evoke the best of her Student vocally, musically, and dramatically, and also develop in her Student: Symbiosis-with-Musical-Theatre!

Over the past 12 years, we've given over 3,000,000 lessons to happy customers around the world.

I was very much a beginner when I started taking lessons with Andrew. He was extremely helpful, and catered the lessons to what I wanted to pursue musically. He always made the lessons fun, challenging, and interesting. I took lessons at his home studio. It was a very comfortable and welcoming environment. The only reason I'm not taking lessons with him anymore is because I'm moving. Overall, he's a great teacher and I would highly recommend him to people of any skill level."
