I would like nothing better than to help you discover and develop your voice's greatest potential. Singing embodies many elements including proper tone production, rhythmic accuracy, proper diction and connecting to and sharing the emotional content of a song. It is a personal journey for singers to learn how to integrate all those elements into their own instruments and I will act as your trusted and supportive guide throughout the process. I have a master's degree in classical vocal performance from the renowned Manhattan School of Music and performed with opera companies in New York City. Currently, in New Orleans, I sing with the joyous Shades of Praise interracial gospel choir. I have had the privilege of studying with some of the finest voice teachers, conductors and coaches that America has to offer and I would love to share that combined knowledge with others. I have also had the agonizing and humbling experience of losing and rebuilding my voice after medical difficulties, ...

I enjoy most of all the back and forth between teacher and student and working together. A good teacher learns alot from his students as well as through teaching. There is no end to learning.
I am very flexible as far as location is concerned. I can travel to you. I am also highly proficient in online learning and can teach and convey concepts from anywhere.
I am also very active in the New Orleans music community and regularly play out in town and on tour. I have a wealth of knowledge about music business and how to be a professional musician.

My journey as a musician which began at the age of 8 has now carried me to 48 states and a dozen countries, including 4 tours in continental Europe. I spent 7+ years performing, recording, and giving workshops with talented acoustic acts based in Nashville and the southeast. I am lucky to have been involved and contributed to a handful of IBMA and Grammy-nominated albums.
Increasingly, however, I turn my focus toward private teaching.
I find great joy and pride in helping a student reach their goals and surprise themselves with their own potential.
Go ahead and get in touch, and let's try a session together!

If you're looking for top-tier, enjoyable, results-driven tutoring, send me a message. I've been helping students ace their next Spanish exam, paper, project, or standardized test, for over 10 years. But more importantly, I build lasting relationships with my students – meeting on a regular basis; covering all aspects of skill-building, test prep, and organization; and acting as a consistent presence in the student's life.
I speak and write fluently in Spanish. But as a native English speaker, I've learned the Spanish language from the ground up, just like my students.
I currently tutor students attending Horace Mann, Riverdale, Collegiate, Cornell University, and University of Cambridge, as well as adults and younger students.
My priority is to help you grow. And everyone learns differently. That's why all of my tutoring is 100% individualized. I teach according to your goals, your learning style, and your challenges. My students get results because their learning is tailored to their needs. I'm a professional teacher
General Note: I majored in Spanish undergrad, and have explored a number of different way to continue learning in NYC - group classes and language programs have their value but can not complete with in-person, 1v1 instruction.
