About Danny
Danny is a recording artist, singer, published songwriter and motivational speaker. Danny has to work in professional acting, singing with various local bands, improvisation live, acapella groups.

Danny has been vocal coaching since 1999 and has learned that the best way to develop a voice is by isolating a vocalists range and working as a team to strengthen what needs developmental work and also reinforcing long term knowledge of longevity.

There is no one size fits all. Each student has a custom plan developed on day one with time lines and short/long term goals. Think of it as personal training, but for the voice. There are areas to think about;

-Blending
-Range
-Control
-Riffs and Runs
-Miliplue registers and how to use each one
-Vocal mixing
-Twang
Each technique can be demonstrated and taught by your instructor in
a gradual progression.

These classes are best recommended for singers who have "real goals in mind". With that said the classes will put you to work as a vocalist and challenge you to work the best parts of your voice, but also parts of your voice that are underdeveloped or need work. If you are the type of singer that says, " I just want to see what happens" but with no real goals. It will be harder for us to work together as our classes need a goal to work towards.

This was a great lesson. He knows his stuff and can really develop a person. I did 20 minute lessons to start, but honestly the more time you can the better. He taught me way more than I expected I could learn, but I could tell there's so much more he can do with more time. My lesson was as long as it took to drive there but it was worth it even for how short it was. I'm doing longer next time for sure.
Danny's really great to work with. He's very skilled and I'm glad he's teaching what he knows because I'm pretty sure he keeps himself busy with a lot of projects. I highly recommend lessons with Danny. It's fun and comfortable because he's a great person and funny and easy to be around even if you haven't taking any lessons on singing.

Danny came to our house and did lessons for my son in our living room. My son used to take group classes with Danny at a Network for Young Artists, a non-profit but since we moved out of that area, we needed more one on one time. My son has improved in confidence, singing has gotten better. He even sang at a family birthday party for his little sister and even did a speech. I would have never imagined that type of confidence.

About Amanda
Hello everyone! My name is Amanda O., and I am a Harpist, Voice teacher, Therapeutic Musician, Life Coach, Alternative Medicine Practitioner, and Vocalist who has over 21 years of experience as a classical vocalist and performer. By 8 years old, I began training as an opera singer and have merged my love of classical vocals with the therapeutic harp. I graduated Magna Cum Laude from Diego State University, with my Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and am currently in my graduate program at Chaminade University of Honolulu studying to obtain my Masters of Science in Counseling Psychology. I graduated from the International Harp Therapy Program as a Certified Therapeutic Harp Practitioner and have completed an internship at Apreva Hospice. I have experience playing therapeutic harp music at over 30 different facilities around San Diego, such
as Narzerath House, Bay View, Bella Vista, Monte Vista Village, and La Mesa Health Care Center, as well as making In-Home visits. These include independent living, assisted living, skilled nursing, and memory care facilities around SD! I also have experience playing for the actively dying for hospice and consider it an honor to be of musical assistance for people in transition.

I love to teach and can make my harp and voice lessons unique to each individual based on their current skill level. I love watching people expand and grow through music. Your lessons will be engaging, compassionate, fun, and organized! Each lesson will encourage you to become excited about your musical growth and inspire you to continue. I offer something unusual for a harp teacher in that I can teach both improvisation and music theory for the harp. This means that you will get the best of both worlds!

I also have obtained education from the Self-Heal School of Herbal Studies here in San Diego, where I have learned about herbal medicine. I am well versed in many alternative therapies (such as E.F.T., meditation, therapeutic music, Ayurvedic medicine, amino acid therapy, etc.) and can provide compassion, understanding, and strategies for alleviating suffering as a Life Coach. My education towards my Master's degree in Psychology also helps me increase my understanding of the human condition and offer additional support for anxiety, depression, addiction, and other stresses. I believe that everyone deserves to live a life of freedom, safety, comfort, and relaxation. I hope to provide loving assistance for anyone seeking someone who cares and will put in the time to truly listen and offer advice.

Thank you for taking the time to read this and please let me know how I can be of service to you!

About Joseph
I am a musician educator and performer that loves working with individuals from the young child to professionals. I taught public school for 12 years and then at The College of Saint Rose in Albany, NY for the last 14. My degrees were from Western Michigan University (Bachelor of Music), Indiana University (Masters in Secondary Education) and Ball State University (Doctorate of Arts). During my teaching career, I also gave private lessons outside of the school and the college. When I left NY, I had 35 students of which 6 remain with me online. Having now relocated to Oahu, Hawaii I am looking to add private students. I love teaching and believe in creating an atmosphere where the students, regardless of age, feel successful in their endeavors.

WHAT DO I DO?
Currently, I am the Coordinator for Music Therapy at Hospice Hawaii and the Dire
ctor of Music at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church in Honolulu.

WHAT DO I TEACH?
I teach piano, organ, and voice.
*Piano: All levels from beginning to professional
*Organ: All levels from beginning to professional
*Voice: Beginning and those working with music theater

WHERE DO I TEACH?
*Piano: At my home in Mililani, St Peter’s Episcopal, and online
*Organ: St. Peter’s Episcopal and possibly online
*Voice: St. Peter’s Episcopal and possibly online
NOTE: Parents are more than welcomed to attend the lessons!
In fact, I encourage that!!

WHAT IS MY STYLE OF TEACHING?
Every student is different and what works with one may not work with another. It's important for me to know my students so I can better shape the lesson. I love questions, reflection, and even humor. I'm also very patient and understanding. We are all very busy and accept that students may have weeks they can't practice a huge amount of time. As long as some progress is made at lessons, all is well!

AER THERE RECITALS? ... Absolutely. You work hard at your lessons and it’s great to show your talent! Recitals will be at St. Peter’s Episcopal. I’m going to have a recital for my online students soon to see how that goes.

About Talia
I am a professional cellist and string music teacher and I'm passionate about helping others enjoy making music. I have worked with students of all skill levels, ages 5 to 85, and my patient and encouraging teaching style ensures that all of my students succeed.

In 2012, I received a Master of Music degree in cello performance and music education from the Ohio State University, where I worked with world-renowned string pedagogue Robert Gillespie. I also held a K-12 Music Teaching License in Ohio and directed the orchestra program in the Grandview Heights public schools, so I'm comfortable teaching violin, viola, cello, and bass. Prior to Ohio, I completed a Bachelor of Music degree at the University of Oregon, where I majored in music education and cello performance. More recently, I taught strings overseas for two years at the America
n Conservatory of Paris in France.

I'm a cellist, but I'm not just a classical musician. In addition to performing with many orchestras and chamber music groups over the years, I have also recorded music for rock bands and learned fiddling, jazz, and improvisation techniques. I am eager to help my students develop a solid foundation in music while allowing them to explore different genres and interests and find what makes them passionate about music.

Talia is absolutely one in a million! Her knowledge and competence as a musician and teacher are outstanding. She is calm, patient, encouraging, and quite attuned to the individual interests and personality of her students. Not many people are able to really "get" and understand the quirkiness of my daughter, but Talia was able to draw her out and to help nurture her strengths and creativity. She truly cares for her students as people and as musicians. What we wouldn't give to have her back! The students here in Columbus,OH who were blessed enough to have her as a teacher feel a great loss in her moving away, and feel a special connection to her. Highly recommend her!
