I have been teaching flute for 20 years and I enjoy working with students of all ages to help them reach their goals. At the beginning level, I use the Rubank Method, Suzuki Book 1 and 40 Little Pieces. At the intermediate level, students advance to the Rubank Method (Book II), Suzuki Book II and III and beginning etudes and scales and at the advanced levels I work on tone, technique, standard repertoire and college requirements.

About Pam

*** Specialties *** I use the Suzuki method for younger flute students and a combination of Blocki Flute Method and Rubank for students who are in fifth grade and above. I work with students to set specific goals for their progress and encourage them to enter solo and ensemble, all county and all

For beginners , I can teach them to read the notes in 2-hour-class, and be joyful playing the piano. I care about the basic skill which is a foundation of the future improvements.

About Lilan

I am patient with students, I always try to find a method to suit students' learning way, because I believe everyone is different. To young learners, some interesting games are also applied to my lesson. I hope my students can be confident, no matter which stage he/she is on.

Lessons are tailored to fit each individual student's ability and goals. I believe in challenging students while maintaining a supportive and encouraging environment. Lessons will cover music theory, technique, and solo pieces. "Whether the yearning of a person to play the piano be as great as a grand passion or as small as a mild interest sparked from within, Howard Richman’s acumen in his piano teaching is comprehensive, ever informative, and the best of all – he makes it forever fascinating to learn.
What is singular in Howard’s approach to teaching the piano is that he incorporates his understanding of life itself into every aspect in how to play the instrument. By this it is remarkable how Howard applies his understanding of a person’s physiology to the most effective extent in order to achieve maximum technique, while always retaining and building on the nature of the player’s individual character/personality. Howard employs logic, common sense, very clear exercises in technique that even include the nature of gravity as in the physical use of the hands, wrists, fingers when playing the piano. Howard makes the learning of any aspect of playing the piano a wondrous journey of discovery and accomplishment. I cannot recommend him more."

When I came to Francesca I had zero musical background. I wanted to learn to play the quitar so I could sing to my first grandchildren ( twin girls) coming in February. By my forth lesson I was playing 'Yellow Submarine ' by the Beatles! Francesca truly has a gift for teaching music. She loves it and loves sharing her knowledge. I leave my lesson with a smile every week."

How to Scream Sing Without Hurting Your Vocal Cords

Do you love metal, punk, or "screamo" music? As a vocalist, you'll need to take extra precautions if you're singing in these styles. Read on for tips from Austin, TX teacher Gfire M...   I live in Austin, Texas, the “live music capital of the world,” so I have worked with loads of vocalists who sing in touring rock bands.
