I have played clarinet for 20 years. I studied clarinet with members of the Philadelphia Orchestra while studying music education at Temple University. I play professionally and enjoy teaching all levels of clarinet students!

About Tina
I've been teaching private lessons for over 15 years. I am a high school music teacher/band director and a freelance musician. I'm looking forward to making music with you!

Your lessons are up to you! If you know what you want to learn, I'll help get you there. If you don't know where to start, I can lead you through the fundamentals and help you set goals.

I like to keep things positive in music lessons. Music is, after all, for fun and enjoyment! I like to blend teaching technique and musicianship, while keeping things fun.

If you're a beginner, we'll get started with all the fundamentals you need to begin making music. If you've been playing for a while, I'll help you perfect things you've been working on, expand your musical experience, and help you reach your fullest potential as a musician.

My home studio has chairs, mus
ic stand, and areas for parents to sit in on lessons. Garage band is available for recording. Students need an instrument and books.

Instruction for all ages and ability levels on all saxophones, clarinets, and flutes.

About Ryan
Woodwind specialist Ryan hails from Aurora, Colorado, and is based in the Denver/Boulder, CO area. He is currently pursuing his Doctor of Musical Arts Degree at the University of Colorado, where he serves as the Graduate Teaching Assistant for the saxophone studio. He also holds a Master of Music Degree in Saxophone from the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music, and graduated summa cum laude from Colorado State University with Bachelor’s Degrees in Music Performance and Education. An extremely in-demand private instructor, Ryan's students have been selected to principal chairs in such ensembles as the Colorado All-State Band and Jazz Band, Northern Kentucky Honor Band, Cincinnati Youth Wind Ensemble, and many more. Equally comfortable in classical, jazz, popular, and sacred settings, Ryan has shared the stage with Fa
reed Haque, Matt Wilson, Greg Gisbert, The Lettermen, and many others. Ryan performs regularly with the TomaScoyk Duo, the Black Diamond Quartet, and the Promethean Quartet, whose debut album "Through Adam's Fall" was released in 2013. Ryan's newest recording project, "Somewhere Between," will be released in early 2016. I whole-heartedly recommend Ryan as a private instructor. My middle school-aged son had enjoyed learning to play saxophone in his school band, but towards the end of his 1st year was getting bored by the slow pace. After beginning lessons w Ryan (through the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music) his interest, enthusiasm & skill improved dramatically & he began to excel as a musician. Ryan was soon guiding him through more complicated compositions, and the joy of playing was evident every time my son picked up his sax. With Ryan’s training, he learned to prepare for auditions, and as a result has won a seat (and solos!) in several State & city select bands, jazz ensembles and every group his school has to offer.

Ryan’s personality was a great fit for my son. He’s very professional, while being completely approachable, patient & encouraging, and his love of music is passed along to his students. His versatility & broad knowledge of musical genres allow him to introduce new directions for his students to explore. With Ryan, my son studied classical compositions and also deepened his interest in Jazz. The chance to work with Ryan on his improv skills was very valuable to him...it brought a new level of confidence & comfort to his playing.

I would recommend Ryan to anyone looking for a private music instructor, either for themselves or for their son or daughter!

I teach clarinet primarily through the tried and true Rubank method. Students will learn how to properly care for the instrument, how to read music, music theory, instrument technique, practice techniques, ear training (how to play by ear), reed selection, and repertoire. I also employ custom exercises specifically for clarinet to help my students progress the fastest.

About Kyle
Hello potential students! I have a B.A. in instrumental music education and composition. I have taught private lessons for over 12 years. Teaching private music lessons is my primary job, so I have much experience and wisdom compared to teachers who teach "on the side." Students of all ages stay with me a long time because I am very flexible in my teaching and know how to interact with many personalities and learning styles, producing great results and progress. My specialties are piano, woodwinds, and music technology (i.e. recording and production). You can find more information about me and what I do at caseymusicservice﮳com.

Kyle is a great piano teacher! He is very patient with my 12-year old son. Just yesterday he referred to him as “fun Kyle” because he teaches him small songs on the side that he can show friends and family or are for upcoming holidays. He’s always punctual and respectful of our family and home. I’m grateful to have found him!

Kyle has given me contra bass, aka upright bass, weekly lessons from August 2015 through May 2016. I have never played a string instrument prior to this, although I do play piano and have played the flute, bagpipes, and piccolo over the years. I did not need education in reading music.

Kyle was able to take me from sounding like a lower octave version of Jack Benny (a mid-20th century comedian famous for his howlingly horrid violin playing) to a level where I know how to hold the instrument and the bow, the fingerings, bowing technique, and how to get a very respectable sound from the instrument.

He also installed the strings when I received the new instrument, found a manufacturing flaw in the bridge height that the manufacturer subsequently paid to repair, and diagnosed a resonance issue with the instrument that was corrected with a balance weight on the string below the bridge.

My twin boys took private clarinet lessons with Mr. Byers. They learned and improved a lot in so little time. Unfortunately, he was relocated and lessons had to stop. My twins were sad when they were informed about this matter. My family and I wish him the best and he will be missed a lot. Thank you for everything you have done for our twin boys.

I’m a professional clarinetist and woodwind instructor with 8 years of teaching experience, four of which include instruction at institutions of higher learning. I have a passion for developing smaller studios into well-established programs and helping students define and accomplish their musical goals.

About Leslie
I am a professional clarinetist who occasionally dabbles with the other woodwinds. I graduated with honors from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst with my masters in clarinet performance, and with honors from Adams State University with my bachelors in clarinet performance and secondary English education.

My students can expect to improve week to week in their technique, sound production, and basic music theory skills. Every student begins their musical journey in a different place - I personally started playing clarinet with my hands reversed.... after about 6 months of struggling to make any sound that wasn't a squeek, I found a private teacher who changed everything for me. My goal is to help all of my students excel the way my teachers did for me.

I have experience teaching students from beginner through college level, includi
ng time spent on faculty at Mount Holyoke College and the Eaglebrook School. I also have experience working as a guest clinician at schools and festivals around Colorado including the Top of the Nation Honor Band, hosted at Adams State University.

As a performer, I am active around Colorado. I am currently a member of the Lone Tree Symphony, but have also performed with the Colorado Wind Ensemble, Denver Pops Orchestra, Lakewood Symphony Orchestra, San Juan Symphony, Steamboat Springs Symphony. Additionally, I occasionally flex my doubling skills and have performed in musical theater productions in Evergreen, Colorado as well as Easthampton, Massachusetts.

My personal passion is classical music but I firmly believe that great technique is essential to any and every style and it can be achieved through many different styles of music. I look forward to meeting you and helping you to become a better musician!

Miguel is a great teacher.....I'm an adult learning to read music and play an instrument for the first time. He's knowledgeable, patient, and wants to make sure I learn the basic foundation skills to build on. He's always on time, pleasant and interested in my progress. He's also flexible, wanting to make sure I'm enjoying the experience. I wasn't sure what to expect, but this introduction to playing exceeds my expectations. I feel very fortunate to have Miguel leading the way.

I have very individual approache with each student that helps student to become a quick learner, indurceing student's selfestime, since "one size fits all" is not my believes.
