I came to Paul for some voice lessons before my band entered the studio. Not only did he help me improve my voice and ear training, but he gave me many tools to improve my timing, vocal range, and knowledge of theory. I highly recommend him!

This was my first experience with on line teaching and it was great. I had tried reading the books and watching some videos on You Tube and was not making progress. Just a few minutes with Paul and what I couldn't figure out suddenly made sense.

Looking forward to next week.

Michael is a stickler for doing things right, but in a nice way. I feel that his mode of teaching is best, because it builds a solid foundation for further learning.

After a brief intro, Mike explained where're going with his lessons. I was having some problems getting my fingers near certain fret areas he wanted me to work on, so he very kindly placed some colors tape where I'm to put my fingers. That helped a lot. Been practicing an hour per day, & I'm getting a bit better daily. I've got a long way to go, but with Mike's help I'll get there. ELLIOT

The guitar is a fantastic and extremely popular instrument. Many people can pick up a guitar and play a few chords, or sing one song. I strong urge guitarist who come to me to be interested in learning the musician aspects of the guitar as well. Most people who learn to play an instrument have to learn theory, scales, and harmony as well. On the guitar you do not have to learn these things to be able to "play" the instrument but I urge people to because that will show in the music you make.

"Had it not been for Frank, I would’ve quit the guitar 2-3 years in. My experiences since 2011 (when I started with Frank) were quite transformative, and that’s because of his patience towards helping people with anything regarding music. I could throw almost any genre at him and he’d respect it with almost no expression except one of optimism. When I asked for the sweet jazz he gave it to me, and when I showed him stuff that had written later on in my experiences, he was always very supportive. No matter what, Frank would make sure to teach at your level. There would never be anything you weren’t interested in like raw music theory unless you specifically asked for that. Even with that, he also always made sure I was rounded out. He always was able to find a balance between student interest and the actual important stuff. It’s a mix that is hard to obtain but reaps great rewards in terms of understanding.
To highlight what I personally got out of my experiences with Frank, my Dad has fair amount of videos of me playing. His youtube channel is “Mike Santopietro.” Here’s a link to a few videos to me playing: https://m.youtube.com/results?search_query=Andrew+Santopietro.
One of the more recent highlights of my playing was when I joined my High School Jazz Band, and I ended up performing at Berkelee Jazz Fest 2019, where I received a Judge Award for Best Soloing. For that experience, I just want to say that I especially couldn’t’ve done it without Frank. He is the person that guided me on my journey to truly feel the music. For that, I can sustain my own musical connection which I’m sure will follow me onward for the rest of my life.
Thank you so much Frank!!! :D"

"I began taking guitar lessons from David over year ago after several years of lessons with other teachers. I feel quite lucky to have found David, who is not only an extremely talented guitarist but an exceptional teacher. The guitar can be a somewhat intimidating instrument for a “mature adult” student such as myself, but David makes every lesson a positive, fun experience that I always look forward to. He patiently demonstrates techniques, explains concepts in clear, understandable terms, and gently critiques my playing. I have made a great deal of progress in a short amount of time under David's mentorship and I unequivocally recommend him to anyone who wants to become a better guitarist."
