My years of teaching have helped me to understand what it takes to make consistent progress in learning the guitar. My approach is focused on helping the student acquire habits that will aid them in forging solid technique and musicianship, consequently removing limitations to allow access to all the joy that music has to offer.

About Wes

I studied classical guitar and composition at Asbury College and later more in depth guitar studies rock, jazz, and classical at the Atlanta Institute of Music. I customize my lessons to every students interest and needs. While doing that setting a strong foundation in theory and technique. Theory is important in the ability to communicate to other musicians, or if the students changes instruments they already know the "lingo". My style of teaching is goofy but focused, and arranged for the best possible chance for success whatever the goals are for the student. Goals are important for anything in life we do and we will have them in our lessons.

About Marcus

I grew up along the Eastern Coast of the United States. Grew up singing in choir and ensembles, which helped to shape my love of music. At the age of 15 I received my first guitar, and studied under the best teachers I could find in my area, while also studying music theory. I moved to Nashville, T

Hey there! I'm a multi-instrumentalist with a strong foundation in Guitar, Bass, and Drums.

My lessons are curated behind a few things:
-the understanding of music theory (scales, chord progressions, rhythmic structure, song composition etc.)
-student's requests to learn specific songs and creating original song
-having FUN!

Because in my experience, you're not learning if you're not enjoying what you're doing.

After 6 years, of playing drums, I began my time as a guitar player. I grew as a guitar player tremendously fast because of my understanding and practice of rhythm. I began as an acoustic/folk guitarist, progressed into a blues/funk guitarist, and now play mainly jazz and neo-soul. I also am accustomed to teach many other genres. I now write, produce, and perform my own music and stream online.

When you take lessons with me you can expect that the lessons will increase your music theory knowledge, finger/hand dexterity, rhythm, ear training, performance abilities, and if

I have been taking lessons from Michael for about 9 months, and it has been one of the best experiences I have ever had. He is an excellent guitar player, and instructor. He is patient, thorough, and very willing to pace his instruction with the ability of the student. I am in my late 50's and he is just the person I had hoped for in a teacher. I consider going to lesson not a chore, but a pleasure.

"Doing the Right Thing

"Management is doing things right; leadership is doing the right things."
Peter F. Drucker

I have respect for people who believe in themselves - Eric is that guy. You could say that he will let you see what he sees.

Someone once said that art is the greatest deception of all: 1 note by itself is simply dull, but putting them all together and you got a sonata. I guess that's how I can summarize my music lessons with Eric: 1 lesson by itself stands small compared to the benefit you could take from continuing your guitar lessons.

Hope this note summarizes my review properly.

Regards,

JDL"

"After a few classes with Kimberly I wrote review which went like this “I have been taking lessons from Kimberly for the last few weeks. As a comparison, I have taken lessons a number of times in the distant past. Kimberly is by far the very best guitar instructor I have had. Kimberly is extremely knowledgeable, highly skilled and very personable”.
In the end I took about 2+ years of classes with Kimberly, one class per week. Further, that was about three years ago. Whereas the only reason I stopped was I moved from the area. I know I could have continued with Skype or some other remote technology. I keep thinking I will. As the complications of life continue to get in the way.
The real story is with Kimberly skill, attention and personable nature, my guitar playing advanced more under her ‘wings’ then at any other time. Thank you Kimberly!"
