Ukulele Lessons in Tea, SD

The ukulele is a fun instrument to play! Steven B is one of the best instructors out there. He teaches in students’ homes across the United States as easily as in the Coronado Music Studio. He combines methods of teaching sight reading, playing by ear, and improvisation. He teaches many styles of music, pop, rock as well as ethnic music genres. Teaching all the fundamentals of technique in ukulele for correct hand positions, fingering, and position.

I start many children ukulele initially, whose hands and bodies are too small to begin guitar. We can build on their knowledge and musical journey keeping both instruments in mind (not necessary however) as they grow and mature into guitar. 4 years experience instructing. My lessons are tailored for those who are picking up a ukulele for the first time. I can work with students whether her/his starting point is learning how to strum or beyond. Let's jump in and get started!!

I teach all uke students how to read, theory, songs and how to understand playing the instrument solo or in a group setting.
Uke is capable of doing anything, all one has to do is apply oneself and music can come flowing out of the instrument.

Lessons with Michael begin with simple chord shapes and strumming to start a students journey quickly to learning songs. Ukulele is a less-physical instrument compared to other stringed instruments and heavily prevalent in modern popular music, thus making a great instrument for young students.
