I can help students be more familiar with ukulele techniques and compare differences between the ukulele and the traditional six string guitar.

About Holly

I have been playing piano for 15 years, and taught two students while I was still in high school. I took a break from teaching for a few years, but recently started teaching again, while finishing up college. I am introverted, but I bond well with kids and will treat them well. I also offer flute,

As I am an older adult piano student with many years of experience playing organ and digital keyboard, including publicly and for hire, I was uncertain which way to go when I decided to add piano (and ultimately jazz piano) to my repertoire. After considering a number of options (online teaching programs, books, YouTube videos, and various instructors), I decided to employ Holly's vast musical expertise. I was impressed that she had a proposed lesson plan right off the bat, and she convinced me that starting with classical music may be the way to morph my way into jazz piano. I knew as a fact that many jazz musicians had their start that way. Holly has been very patient with my learning the whole new way of playing that a piano entails (no more relying on the built-in bells and whistles of an arranger keyboard). I would recommend Holly for adult students as well as children. She knows her stuff. And if she gets mad if I don't play something right the first time, she sure doesn't show it (mainly because she DOESN'T get mad at all). But my biggest recommendation comes that she is darn passionate about what she does.

Holly is an incredible pianist and teacher. Always patient and understanding. She always has the answer to questions I have and can explain it clearly. I would recommend Holly to anyone looking to learn piano the correct way.

Ukulele is such a unique and beautiful instrument to express yourself on. The best part is, it's extremely portable! If you're looking for a great place to start learning chords for your own composition, or rather learning some of your favorite songs, then look no further, because I will help you achieve those goals.

About Anthony

I've been interested in guitar and everything about it since I was a young boy. I've been in a few different bands, playing in places from backyards, warehouses, clubs, and bars. I've always sought out information from anywhere I can get it from, but I've found I made the most progress when I worke

Hello there! My name is Pat, I live in Nashville, Tennessee (US) and I absolutely love playing the guitar! Super helpful first lesson!
Ali
I know more about the guitar than I ever thought I would, thanks to a Patrick. He is so patient with me and knows exactly how to teach me so that I remember and understand. I originally started taking lessons to be able to play a few songs around a campfire and now I can play whatever song I want because he really taught me to read music and know chords. I’ve been taking lessons for less than 6 months and I am farther along than I even thought possible. I would recommend Patrick to anyone and everyone wanting to learn guitar. He is incredible and such a great teacher!!!!!!
Heidi
Patrick is extremely knowledgable which makes learning from him really fun and engaging. He not only teaches you how to play, but teaches you the why behind every chord and how it relates to other things you've already learned. He's patient, fun to learn from and will help you reach your goals. I can guarantee there is no other teacher out there who knows more about this instrument — he's definitely worth the investment!

I have been teaching private piano, violin, guitar, and ukulele lessons for ten years. I won competitions, hundreds of dollars, and a scholarship through the Desert Valley Music Teacher Association (DVMTA). I have written and self-published two piano books with more in the works. I have worked on a Music Theory degree at MCC and plan to transfer to ASU to finish my bachelor's. I help students find the fun in music again with many involved music games and incentive programs. I instill a love and confidence in students of composing their own music from a young age.

About Courtney

I've been teaching piano and violin for over ten years now and now guitar and ukulele for six. I play the organ in church every week and have helped many people spread their love with music. I have not finished my bachelors in Music Theory and Composition due to medical reasons, but I plan to go b

Rachel is a terrific violin teacher. My daughter is 13 and she starting taking violin lessons last year and now she has progressed so much from when she just begun. Rachel is really kind, patient, and funny. I highly recommend Rachel for violin lessons!!
Kristi M.
My two daughters, 13 and 16, have been taking lessons from Rachel for about a year now. They were beginning and intermediate levels. Both of them have enjoyed working with Rachel. She has kept lessons fun and engaging and we have seen a lot of progress. My daughters love celtic fiddle songs and Rachel has helped them play more on pitch and taught them some neat techniques. Rachel has also been very patient with our scheduling changes and is a great communicator.
Cindy
Rachel is a terrific and inspiring fiddle teacher. Lessons were focused on achieving my goals (which I did) but lots of fun too. Rachel is great at suggesting a number of approaches to improving your skills and also suggested some great new fiddle tunes! I highly recommend Rachel for fiddle lessons.

"I had a great time learning to play Van Halen’s “Ain’t Talkin’ ‘Bout Love” on the ukulele. Carolyn’s classes covered everything from re-stringing with a lower octave G-string to using butterfly effects, hammers and string pulls on the finger work. It was just what I was looking for."
