Ukulele Lessons in Foyil, OK

Experienced ukelele teacher of 10 years available for eager students of all experience levels and ages! I structure my lessons so students learn what they want to learn, while also building a strong foundation of fingerstyle ukelele skills. I specialize in reggae, pop and world music, typically use Hal Leonard books (among others), and also have the following tools available to use during lessons: sound recording equipment, sheet music, and more.

Ukulele can be a great first instrument for young music lovers! Perfect for little hands, the ukulele gives students the opportunity to practice playing a string instrument! Kids will be learning chords from their first lesson and may be surprised to find out how many popular songs can be played on a ukulele! I am a laid back and fun teacher and kids can learn in a low-pressure environment with lots of encouragement and support from me! *Group lessons available by request*

I've been teaching ukulele for 4 years helping students develop a love for the instrument and learn more about music along the way. Ukulele is a great instrument for an introduction into stringed instruments and as a casual pastime, but when pursued seriously can be as rigorous as any other. Within the first few lessons you'll have a solid base of strumming patterns and chord changes and even a few simple songs under your belt. Moving on from there I will craft lessons to move you toward a "goal song," making sure to cater your progress to your needs while keeping a focus on good technique. I enjoy working with students of all ages and experiences and I can't wait to meet you!
