I would describe my teaching style as organic and holistic. I believe student needs its own time to digest knowledge and incorporate it. Each lesson should be personalized in order to connect with the needs and goals of each student.
For me it is a pleasure to stimulate curiosity and give tools for an artistic development. I have taught music for 8 years on 1 on 1 classes as well as group workshops. I exceeded as a Core Music Tutor at Berklee College of Music, providing individual hourly tutoring sessions assisting students in the completion of coursework and projects in ear training, and harmony and arranging.

I am a lifelong musician/music educator. I have a degree from Berklee and I have experience teaching at the University level. I have been a private teacher for over 10 years and I have taught a wide variety of students. I love to teach! Students will first be taught simple melodies, followed by some chords and rhythm guitar.

I work with the student to develop a curriculum based on their musical interests and my own teaching pedagogy. I strongly feel that for young musicians to own their education, they must have a say in what they play. Assigning method books and mindless etudes to practice doesn't have nearly the same effect asking them "Ok, what kind of music do YOU like? What do you want to PLAY? What do you want to LEARN?".

I believe that students learn best when they are invested in a subject, and the best way to get them invested is to individually get to know each one, speak to them on their level, and get them playing music they're interested in.

My experience with beginners and intermediate extends to all ages, focusing on the rudimentary exercises, scales, positions, chord progressions, music reading, Pentatonic/Chord Shape Theory, Singing with Instrumental Accompaniment, etc.
