I am a professional Guitarist, Bassist, Pianist and Music Instructor based out of Haddonfield, NJ. I have taught hundreds of students between ages 4 and 70 from beginner to advanced in all musical styles. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Music in 2007, and was trained by top-tier musicians in Jazz, Classical, Blues, Rock, RnB, Pop and even Broadway.

My teaching style is to first identify what music motivates students, and then to carve out a path for them in fundamental practice towards achieving their goals, while preparing them for performance-level playing. Along that path, other musical styles, famous musicians and examples of mastery are introduced to broaden student’s understanding of what is achievable and to motivate them towards a higher level on their instrument.

First thing I do before first day of class is send out a welcoming greeting via email and call a few days before first lesson. We Briefly discuss and establishing the learning goals for the course based on the visual literacy, technical, and intellectual competencies the students should achieve by the end of a period is ideal for me to design the course or update an existing course for the student's desired outcomes. The syllabus and the schedule are completed along with a comprehensive strategy for what will take place during class. Music lessons include: warm ups, exercises, technical and theory work, solfeggio (sight-singing), ear training, repertoire musical coaching, composition writing, preparation for performances and more.

Priscilla is fantastic. My son really enjoys his lessons with her, which have been both in our home and now online. She is patient and understanding and has made it a very enjoyable experience!
Nick
Priscilla was amazing and helped me achieve all the singing goals I had set going in, which were to strengthen my voice and breathing, expand my range, and identify where in the body to sing from. She was very friendly, and by starting each lesson with meditation it really helped set a relaxing tone for the rest of the time.

I have taught both guitar and bass for about 10 years now primarily at an on-site music academy in Southlake Texas called “Katie Parr Music Academy. I have recorded professionally with the following labels:Shrapnel records,Lion,EMI, and appeared in Guitar Player magazine’s “spotlight column” in 1992.
I love teaching and effectiveness is so important to both the student as well as the teacher and when that is successful then learning itself happens and that’s what we are here for !

About Kyle

I am a great one on one instructor and I never pressure students to advance further than necessary when attempting to just take the needed time and patience to learn something. Speed is not the key here.. we learn everything at a slow pace then apply all learned techniques and materials according t

"I've taken a couple of lessons from Trevor so far and they have been awesome. I've taken lessons from about 7 or 8 instructors in my lifetime and he is definitely one of, if not the best.
The thing that makes Trevor stand out to me is that he took the time to get to know what I wanted to learn and to figure out how I like to learn. He comes prepared to the lessons with material, answers any questions I have during the week by email and has worked with me to develop a specific education plan to meet my goals.
I suggest taking a trial lesson with this guy to see if you're on the same page. I am definitely not going anywhere else while I live in Austin."

Bill is one of those rare guitar teachers who have both an incredible amount of musicianship and talent and a genuine passion for passing that knowledge on to students. He takes educating his students very seriously and it shows. I've been taking lessons with Bill for the last couple months and my playing has gotten so much better. "Ryan teaches me a lot of good fundamentals and taught me chords I didn't even know existed. He is very nice and does not judge me even if I ask a stupid question.
He also teaches me how to play cool rifts and licks on my guitar and teaches rock songs that a lot of people from the 90's might know. He is great and I totally recommend him for anyone who is looking for a great guitar teacher!
~ Student of Ryan S.
If you are new to online lessons- they are amazing! Ryan shows up every week on time via Skype right into my living room from across the country! I don't have to get in the car and drive to lessons or wait. I usually get the dinner dishes done while my sons takes lessons- a major time saver for our busy family! RYAN is awesome! He is a great communicator with my son and with me as well. I receive weekly e-mails with material for lessons. Ryan is kind, encouraging and has really helped foster my son's love for guitar. I highly recommend him!
