I have been teaching other people to play musical instruments since the moment I got home from my first music store guitar lesson. We can keep it light and fun, or go as deep into musicianship as you want. You'll learn lots of chords, challenging strum rhythms, and even finger-picking if you want. I want all my students to feel good about what they're learning and playing.
About Paula
I am a warm, patient teacher and an excellent musician. I love to see students learn and succeed, and I love to answer outside-the-box questions about music. Whatever you love about music, I can help you master it!

As a new student, there is nothing better than learning to make music. There isn't a better instrument to learn on because it is inexpensive, portable and honestly so much fun!
Believe it or not, you can make a great deal of progress with a little bit of time each day. Once I decided to pick it up as regularly as I could, even if it was literally only 5 minutes, it was clear I was on the right path.
I started when I was 50 having never played an instrument before which has helped me teach others understanding all of the challenges of learning to play.
Sharing the ukulele with my friends and family helped me realize how much I wanted to share it with others. What could be better than sharing the joy of making music?
I hope to see you soon!
