Taking up Ukulele was a great way to look at music from a new perspective. I love teaching ukulele to younger kids who cannot make chords on a guitar quite yet as well as adults who are serious musicians that have been playing for years. I welcome everyone from the novice to the hobbyist and do my best work with student requests.

I find ukulele to often work better than guitar for many young students (typically years 10 and younger). When appropriate, the student can transition to guitar having increased hand strength and learned many of the concepts needed to excel. Of course, ukulele makes for a fun (and ultra-portable) instrument in its own right!

About Wes

I studied classical guitar and composition at Asbury College and later more in depth guitar studies rock, jazz, and classical at the Atlanta Institute of Music. Getting older and noticing a change in my vocal patterns was causing me some concern. Francesca not only listened to me about my concerns but she talked me through the physicality of how my vocal chords worked and how I can best sing in a way that does no damage but gets maximum range, power and tone. I have never taken vocal lessons before so this was such amazing information to have and to put into practice. When you know better, you do better. I can't recommend BugByte Studios enough! Thanks sister!

It has been a delight taking lessons with Omar. The sitar is a foreign and old instrument, and Omar was very patient with getting me acclimatized to the instrument itself - all the nuts and bolts of putting the instrument together, tuning and playing the strings. Omar adapts very well to my pace of learning, and teaches with depth, instead of rushing through material. Lessons are always fun and easygoing, and I leave with not just technical knowledge, but with also a feel for the background and vibes of Indian classical music.
Grant
Omar is an amazing teacher! He has taught me a lot about the the history and how to properly play the sitar. Highly recommend learning from him if you are interested in the sitar : )

Omar is very knowledgeable and able to convey that knowledge in an effective and efficient way.

"Claire has been a delight as a teacher and CEO (Chief Enthusiasm Officer). I started from basically no musical training in many years and even a little apprehensive at the beginning. Claire teaches with such positivity that I did not feel self conscious or discouraged at any point. I felt very good about the progress from day one and was able to build on that. Claire has a deep technical understanding of music, but it's really her style and empathy that makes her effective, in my opinion. I have a ways to go, but I now have a base to improve from. I am no longer apprehensive in the least and look forward to each lesson. I highly recommend her as a teacher."
