Travel the world through music from the comfort of any seat in your home. I have been doing this for the past twelve years with my guitar. I have been through the rivers and amazons of Brazil, getting to know their rhythms that influenced the catchy Bossa Nova; I have walked the muck and mud of Southern USA, playing the Blues and training my fingerstyle technique to imitate that of my idols, and I have cleaned through the distorted grit of Rock around the world to find my own voice. These are only a few places I have travelled. After my education in Guitar, Production, and Songwriting at Berklee College of Music, I can help you cater to the lesson plan you need to take your skills to the next level, the next venue, and the pieces inside of you waiting to be manifested into notes. When do we start?

About Michael

Hola! Michael here, I'm an American/Mexican raised in Mexico. I moved to the US to pursue music. I went to Berklee College of Music where I studied Music Production, Composition, and Songwriting! I am now living in Nashville jamming with every person I can meet!

Michael is a careful, patient and fun teacher. He took time to make sure I was learning and applying my new guitar skills. He would not move beyond until I got it. I highly recommend Michael for beginners and intermediate guitar players.
Sarah
Michael is always enthusiastic and excited to work with my daughter on her guitar skills. He makes afternoon activities something my daughter thoroughly looks forward to. Michael is passionate about music and it is contagious to all his students! Ask Michael to teach you or your kids!!!
Gabby
My two boys were shy and inexperienced guitar wanna-be players. Michael opened up his home and his heart and slowly but surely built confidence within them. He has the patience and kindness that were necessary for my boys. However, he knew when and how to push them to become better and more confident with each class. His methods were unique and effective. They looked forward to Wednesday afternoons with Michael. Although we have moved away, my children speak highly of the kind and experienced player that Michael was with them when they needed it most. I recommend Michael!

Do you want to play like Jimi Hendrix or Stevie Ray Vaughan? Want to learn how to play folk, pop, country, heavy metal, or even write your own original music? The primary focus of my lessons is learning songs and styles that inspire you as a student! Playing guitar is meant to be fun, and that is why I like to get my students to dive right into learning how to play their favorite songs. From there, we will begin to look at what makes this particular song, style, or artist sound the way it does, and learn how to recreate it in your own voice. This is where music theory comes in. I believe in teaching students in a way that makes them well-rounded musicians, which includes learning and applying music theory, ear-training, and most importantly, learning to play what most inspires you!

About Natalie

My name is Natalie, and I teach guitar! I teach beginner, intermediate, and advanced students in all styles, including acoustic and electric. My favorite guitarists include John Mayer, Jimi Hendrix, Stevie Ray Vaughan, and Derek Trucks. I specialize in blues and rock, and also teach country, folk,

Phil is very friendly and pleasant. He has a quaint in-home studio that is filled with music books, instruments and art. He really seems to know a lot about music and was very comfortable teaching me. I've been teaching guitar, acoustic and electric, for fifteen years. The first thing I like to do is get to know you, the music you enjoy and your goals. In a way, I like to begin by letting the student lead.

I believe anyone can play guitar. In most situations, we can learn the basics of playing some of your favorite songs in under a month. In the first few lessons we will learn open position chords and the basics of strumming and picking in 4/4 and 3/4 time. After you've memorized half a dozen or so songs this way, we can attempt barre chords and lead guitar playing.

David is the best and the sweetest piano teacher we have ever have. He is so patient, kind, caring and creative in his teaching method.

My 5 year old has a little autism symptom so she's very easy to get distracted. Yet we have great fun time in every class with him. His class worth 20 min driving there and 20 min driving back, using toll road!

David has been so amazing with out 9 year old daughter. We have gone to him for over 2 years and she has come so far with her skills! He has so much patience. He's so kind and wonderful with kids. We were recommended by a friend and now we recommend him! He's high in demand for sure! We are sad we can't use him anymore due to scheduling issues. His prices are better than others too!

"I could not have found a better instructor- worth every penny. I was worried about committing to 5 lessons on this site without meeting the teacher, but after meeting Steve I knew I found the right teacher. He takes the time to explain everything in detail and is patient while you learn. Never at any point did I feel like I made a "mistake" or I was doing something wrong- he gently just tells you where you need to get eventually. Will go as far into detail as you want to go. Very talented player- he just gets "it"."
