If you are just starting out with the guitar, I am your 'gal'! I make learning the basics of the strings, the tuning, and the music really fun! but as with learning any new language or instrument, the follow up requisite practice and purchase/download of recommended supplementary materials is totally up to you, the student. If you practice what I show you in each lesson every day, you will notice progress!

I have been teaching for 9 years. I am very patient, kind and will nurture your talent. My curriculum will be different depending on the style of music you want to be taught, but music history, references, and listening material are to be expected. I am just a guide who is helping you on your journey, where you wish to go I will do my best to show you the way. Thx!:)

My philosophy as a teacher is to not only give every student a solid foundation of good technique and practice habits, but to most importantly foster their sense of musicality and expressiveness on the guitar. Having played and been dedicated to mastery of the guitar since the age of 10, I have found that the two greatest joys of playing regardless of skill level is 1. To find your "voice" on guitar and create your own music and 2. Playing and making music with other musicians. I aim to help any player of any age achieve these wonderful benefits by teaching music theory in a fun and practical way alongside developing their technical skills in engaging ways. I still consider myself a student of the instrument even after 14 years of playing and learning many styles, so students will also enjoy learning about (and from!) other great players and musicians as part of their curriculum, giving them an insightful history into the playing of various great guitarists and the timeless music they

Students will learn:

Lessons will be based off of classical studies but I encourage students to be creative with what they have learned both during and outside of the lessons.
