My critique during your lesson is always honest, so you know when I give you a compliment it is well deserved. I especially love working with non-singers and helping them find their voice. I always start with an assessment to see where your work is currently at and where we can go from there. I keep notes during your lesson, send you home with your homework for the week, and I use those notes to think of personalized ways to improve your technique before your next lesson.
If honesty and results are what you're looking for in a teacher, I promise to be that teacher for you.

The ukulele is the #1 instrument I recommend for beginners, though I also use it on professional recordings. It's a versatile instrument that provided an excellent gateway to connecting with other musicians.
When I teach ukuklele, I of course focus on the fundamentals of technique that make it easy to play well, but I also work from the goals of the students and help them develop a plan to connect to to other people or an experience.
About Jonathan
I am currently a full-time YouTube Creator, sidelining in cover bands and a solo act. Teaching is a big part of what I do online so I see my work as a private teacher as 'research' for the lessons I create. Although I'm firmly grounded in a classical music training, there's nothing you can ask about that I won't try to figure out. My favorite thing about teaching is using unexpected questions to develop new ideas that I then integrate into my original compositions. Check out my intro to the B

About Sarina W.
CloseI love to teach beginning ukulele because it is such a simple instrument to learn but it can be so much fun! I like to use the same method in the classroom as I do in my private studio: The Rainbow Ukulele Method!
About Sarina
I have been teaching private lessons since I was a freshman in high school in 2006. I was incredibly nervous when I started but soon found that I loved it so much! I received my Bachelors of Music Education from Winthrop University in South Carolina. During my time there, I learned how to take everything I had learned as a private instructor up to that point, and gear it towards classroom education. Fast forward to today, and I have learned to take all of that wonderful knowledge I gained from my Bachelors Degree and apply it to my private lessons!
I love to have fun in my lessons! I am all about making sure that my students are enjoying themselves too! I achieve this by meeting my students in the middle. If you are interested in learning a type of music, I will help you find that music so we can learn it together. If you are in
