I started playing in orchestra when I was 9, I have been teaching orchestra in the public school system since 2016, and I have been teaching private lessons for over 8 years now! I am primarily a viola player, but these days, as a teacher, I teach more violin players than anything else! I love string instruments so much, and I love getting to share the experience of making music with string instruments with others.

I am a professional violinist and violin instructor in the Washington, DC Metro Area.
Currently teaching in Arlington, VA and Washington DC area, I have been a private violin instructor for over 7 years. I have a great love for music and hope to be able to pass it on to anyone eager to learn. I teach beginner to advanced violin students of any age, child to adult (adults, it’s never too late to learn if you have always wanted to!). Although there is no specified age limit, children younger than the age of 6 are admitted only at my discretion.

Extensive knowledge in leading all aspects of musical shows and orchestras. Internationals tours in South America including Argentina, Chile, Colombia and Ecuador. Performed three times as part of the orchestra for Richard Clayderman on his Ecuador tour.I have a vast experiene for 10 years, specializing in the beginner/intermediate violin student! I want to serve as a supportive and instructional figure that helps cultivate an appreciation of music for all students. In order to do this, I believe it's important to prioritize personal student progress rather than subscribe to a fixed game plan. That being said I take on a relaxed adaptive teaching style that tailors to the student. It's my hope that all students feel comfortable working and discussing music topics with me as I believe thoughtful conversations, whether straightforward or abstract, is an essential learning technique.

Work on bowing exercises, finger exercises, rythm and pitch. Learn the different tempos and how to play them.

I like for my students to learn effectively and efficiently. In addition, I teach them quality over quantity. It's not about the amount of time you dedicate. It's about what you dedicate in the amount of time.
