Welcome to my violin and viola studio! I believe that every student can enjoy the process of studying an instrument, and can learn to play with ease and joy. As a result, I work to determine each student's learning style, look for ways to encourage individual ownership of learning, and adapt my approach to help meet each student’s needs and goals. I teach both Suzuki and traditional lessons, and draw from a variety of musical styles and approaches to help students develop a broad range of skills that include a strong technical foundation, ear training, sight-reading, ensemble playing, and musical self-expression. Through this approach, I hope to help students develop a lifelong love for music that will serve them in all future endeavors, musical or otherwise.

Ahhhh....the seeet sound of the violin! I began teaching violin as part of a PTSA after school enrichment program. I taught for two years to high cap children from 2nd grade up to the 5th grade.

Our studies included theory, intonation, bow technique and rhythm.

I then began teaching privately to students and have enjoyed that for the last four years. I customize the lessons according to the student’s own apptitude.

I encourage participation in recitals to help build cinfidence and encourage personal growth. I do respect a students decline and we find other ways for self-confidence.

The best part of teaching is watching a student grow in their capabilities.

About Tudi

Tudi is a classically trained cellist and violinist and customizes lessons to meet the needs of each student. She teaches beginning to intermediate on both cello and violin for all ages. Tudi believes in providing a strong background of music theory, intonation, and aiding the student in music no

I've been teaching violin for over 25 years and my students have gone on to play in youth orchestras, attend PMEA and ASTA events or go to college as a music major. Within the first few lessons, you'll be able to improve your playing skills and as time goes on you'll be able to play at a more advanced level. I specialize in Traditional Classical violin, typically use Essential Elements 2000, Samuel Applebaum methods, Suzuki methods and traditional scales and etude books. I have the following tools available for your lessons: Metronome, Tuner, rosin and my music library. I love working with students of all ages and experience levels and I can't wait to meet you!

In my private violin/viola studio, I am helping my students to love the learning process. If a student wants to play an instrument for their enjoyment, he comes to me. If students have ambitions to get prepared for the test or audition, they know they will get help. For students who would like to prepare for the evaluating test, I contribute to preparing for the ABRSM (Associated Board of School of Music abrsm.org) exams. If a student is a beginner, I teach using the Suzuki Method.

I love helping students to achieve what they want. By learning their abilities, I help them to enjoy playing an instrument.

I teach violin at the New School for Leadership and the Arts, mostly to novice players, and I have experience teaching violin to children of all ages.

My primary instrument is guitar, which I've played for about 25 years in many different bands, styles, and genres. I studied music and classical guitar at University of Central Florida, and during that time I also helped teach violin to a class of third graders. I'm not a pro violinist, but I have plenty of experience working with novice players, helping them develop proper technique, sight reading, ear training, and other skills needed to advance to the next level.

About Gio

I studied music at UCF (Orlando), focusing on classical and jazz guitar, but I also have years of experience playing rock, blues, folk, hip-hop, and musical theater on both guitar and drums. I have been teaching guitar, drums, and piano for about eight years to students of all ages. Music is wh

"Kendra has been tutoring one of my daughters for about 2-1/2 years, and tutored my other daughter for about 6 months. We have been extremely pleased with the progress they both have made working with Kendra. She is very good at identifying where a student needs to make corrections and does it in a way that is positive and easy to understand. She is excellent at helping students find their own voice - interpreting the music and infusing creativity and meaning into each piece. We really appreciate how she has individualized her teaching approach to each of my girls' needs and goals, and how she is always positive and enthusiastic about their progress. When Kendra moved out of state, we opted to continue lessons with her online rather than find a new local teacher because she has been (and continues to be) such a great instructor. I highly recommend Kendra as a violin/viola teacher."
