I've been teaching ukulele for 15 years. Within the first few lessons, you'll be able to strum accompaniments to simple songs. As time goes on you'll be able to play more advanced chords and combine melody with the chords to do solo arrangments. For Children, I typically use The Hal Leonard book "Ukulele for Kids". It's a great book for getting the student up and running very quickly. For Adults the Hal Leonard Ukulele Method book 1 and 2. For someone who has played before The National Guitar Workshop has a uke book that works well for a little more advanced students. I love working with students of all ages and experience levels and I can't wait to meet you!

In our first lesson, we will discuss what your personal goals are for the ukulele and formulate a plan for your individual success, based on the type of music YOU want to learn.
