Hi, I'm Dwayne and I teach students of all ages and skill levels. What makes my lessons unique is that I create customized lesson plans that cater to your interests and desire to want to learn.

I have been teaching private guitar lessons throughout Colorado for over a decade and have brought my special training skills and methodology to many, many students within that time. I am an accomplished musician who teaches in the studio on Saturdays and provides in-student home lessons during the week. I am also a published author of many guitar instruction books that I am currently selling on Amazon & eBay.

I have a very unique and exciting approach that quickly gets students of all ages having fun playing guitar. I am left-handed (which makes learning from me easier) and my enthusiasm and love for teaching shine through with every lesson I prepare.

I've been teaching guitar for 5 years helping students develop a love for the instrument and learn more about music along the way. There are many styles I'm comfortable teaching from folk (fingerpicking or flatpicking), rock, blues and funk and I would love working on developing a unique style of your own. Within the first few lessons you'll have a solid base of strumming, picking and chord changes and even a few simple songs under your belt. Moving on from there I will craft lessons to move you toward a "goal song," making sure to cater your progress to your needs while keeping a focus on good technique. I enjoy working with students of all ages and experiences and I can't wait to meet you!

I make learning the guitar super fun! I use a really fun and fast approach to getting students playing in no time and more advanced students to the next level. For online lessons I use all of the latest technology including screen sharing, virtual snip and sketch and ink, lesson and practice follow up videos, and many other awesome tools to enhance the online experience. 26 years experience teaching beginner to university and professional level students.

Picking up the guitar has led me to amazing moments, friendships and the wonderful feeling of performing for a crowd! It's a hobby that stimulates your mind and is fun to play.
