I am older and not a proficient reader of music so Noah has had to start with very basic skills for me. He has done a great job of making it understandable. Paul McCartney once said "it is impossible not to smile while playing a Ukulele." What is there not to love about the Uke? Beautiful, portable, and able to play full chords! It is much easier than you think! It is a perfect stepping stone to learning the Guitar. They are inexpensive (although make sure it is a real instrument and not a toy) and are great for flying, hikes, the beach, you name it! I have been teaching the Uke for over 5 years.
