Violin is the NUMBER ONE instrument to teach the young (5-10 years)
student musicianship, rhythm, and perfect pitch and musicality.

About Amber

Growing up in Denver, I had a huge desire for singing and performing. By age 14, I was taking weekly singing & piano lessons, was acting constantly in local productions-many times getting the lead role. Some of the productions I acted in: The Wizard of Oz (Dorothy), Camelot, Anything Goes (Reno

Not a good experience. First day we were set up for lessons she canceled and asked for a different time/day. When that lesson came time she was late and couldn't accommodate the lesson but never contacted to reschedule. A week later for the 2nd lesson, I purchased she sends a text a few hours before the appointment claiming that she talked to another teacher about my grandson and felt she couldn't help him. Way too inconsistent to be offering any lessons. What an awful experience. Time to move on (eye-roll).

Cieran is a great teacher. I am an adult student who studied some as a child. So he assessed my skill level and took it from there. I feel we are going at my own speed, and it is very enjoyable for me. Cieran is highly qualified to teach and is very pleasant to work with.

Cieran was amazing with my 3 year old! He explained everything and was very patient!

Every lesson is tailored to what you would like to learn. Not only that, but he is an extremely gifted player, so after hearing what I aspire to sound like, I am motivated to practice more than ever!

I believe fundamentally that each student has a unique learning style and benefits from a tailored approach. I do not subscribe to a particular regimented program of study, rather I select the repertoire and etudes to match each student's needs. I believe in choosing both concert music and etudes to challenge individual deficits and work on skills that will apply broadly across the repertoire.

It is my goal to select level-appropriate repertoire to build on strengths, challenge weaknesses, and ensure that young violinists develop strong technical facility that enables them to develop into mature musicians with ease.

About Joshua

I am a professional orchestral violist and recording artist based in Long Beach, California. However, I am currently living in Denver, Colorado. For the past two seasons, I have primarily served as the assistant principal violist of the Pacific Symphony, while enjoying a flourishing freelance career

It was our first lesson today: Kelly took the time to listen to my daughter patiently, even though my daughter stutters and is shy when speaking. I appreciate that she took time to make her feel comfortable.

I've been teaching violin for about 10 years and have recently received my Doctorate of Musical Arts degree in Performance from CU-Boulder. Having taught as a private teacher for younger students as well as a Teaching Assistant for a String Methods class in my undergrad, I am extremely comfortable working with a wide range of ages and skill levels. I teach using the Suzuki method, as well as basic music theory, note-reading, and other skills based on the student's needs and skill set.

Please note: in order to offer the best possible education for students, I am not offering online lessons for violin beginners who have no previous experience.

I use the Suzuki Violin Method and the ABCs of Violin Method, but am willing to work with other method books as well. I have developed extensive supplemental resources that I'll use with any curriculum.

I also work with orchestra/band students to help them succeed, usually taking a break from the method books to focus on that season's music.

I can prepare you for contests and auditions, help you work in a small or large ensemble, grow you as a soloist, or help you learn a new style.

Beginning students will gain a solid grasp of all the "essentials": basic theory, sight reading skills, counting, and technique. As soon as you have these, you have a lot of freedom with what you want to work on!

I take kids, adults, and teens. I have experience teaching kids with disabilities including Down's syndrome, trauma/PTSD, ADHD, cerebral palsy, and more.

In that time, he has been beyond patient showing me how to correctly play the instrument. He encourages me to be better. He works with my schedule as well as my learning curve. When I am stuck on something, Cameron provides tips and figures out a way to get me past the problem. I will continue as one of his students!"
