Cello Lessons in Paw Paw. Amazing Teachers.

I hope to share my passion for cello and music with you! I teach every age range and skill range. I’ve been playing for 15 years, teaching the past 5. I adapt my teaching style to my student, whether you are looking for guidance before an audition or wanting to play that song you’ve heard on the radio! I’m here to help get you to your goal!

Together we will learn the beginning essentials to playing the cello and reading cello music. I focus on good technique from the beginning so a student should expect to spend a good amount of time in lessons on technique exercises and posture checks. We will also learn music based on the student's experience.

I have experience teaching in a variety of settings level students. I am currently teaching students as a private teacher and I helped some of my students’ audition for San Diego youth symphony and school orchestra assignments. I also have experience not only teaching young musicians in a small group system also performing and playing as a cellist of chamber ensembles and orchestra.
As a music teacher, it is my goal that I want to give back the rich knowledge that I have received during my studies. I want to use my education and knowledge gained from SDSU to help students obtain a proper and valuable education. I desire to see young musicians refine and expand their passions and talents in music and use them to touch the lives of others.

I teach through a traditional style where learning notation is paramount. Proper technique and finger placement will propel us into playing classical pieces and studies.

My style of teaching is to teach each child one step at a time, through method training. Each child/Adult has their own learning curve and I adjust accordingly. Each lesson is fun and yet a learning time. I love teaching and it feeds every day. I always can see more students.
