I started playing acoustic guitar when I was seven years old. I have been playing and teaching mostly bluegrass, old time, Irish, blues, and swing jazz styles for many years. I have taught both privately and have also done various workshops at festivals. I have taught guitar multiple years for instance at the Gettysburg Bluegrass Festival in PA.
My students learn to have fun with music. Students can work on rhythms, melodies, improvisation, song writing, getting into and/or hanging on in a jam session, etc.
About Tara
I have a Masters in Education as well as having spent many years performing, teaching in one on one and group settings both privately and at music camps and festivals. I play and teach bluegrass, old time, blues, folk, Irish, and swing jazz styles. I like my students to really enjoy playing music a

Hey there!
My passions are technique and accuracy; by perfecting technique comes a deeper understanding of theory. I have lots of teaching methods that will encourage you to play your favorite songs and styles with the sounds you like.
I'll focus on the very basics of guitar theory in order to get to a higher level of understanding music theory.
I will challenge you! We will have lots of fun and you will see, hear, and feel your own improvements with my teachings.
About Shai
If you are fascinated about guitar technique and awesome weird sounds that you can do with your guitar, you will like having lessons with me. I began as a classical guitar player, studying traditional classical pieces and applying them to my guitar. During that time I began to explore and became

I came to Nathaniel mid-summer 2013 to begin beginner lessons after careful consideration of his skills. He is so accomplished! After adjustments to find the correct guitar (left handed) we finally got down to brass tacks and I have improved so much under his direction. Nathaniel is so patient and always has the right answer when a question is asked. Nathaniel likes putting some humor in with his instruction technique which helps to relax and enjoy the session. Anyone who is looking for a spectacular instructor, Nathaniel is your choice."
