I teach basic through intermediate violin using the Essential Elements repertoire and my own personalized string exercises. Group lessons are available but I do not teach Suzuki. For the specific times and days for group lessons please contact me first.

Patient and encouraging violin teacher of 6+ years available for eager students of all experience levels and ages! I structure my lessons so students learn what they want to learn, while also building a strong foundation in violin technique. I specialize in child and adult beginners, typically use the Essential Elements books, and also have the following tools available to use during lessons: sheet music, piano accompaniment, fun tips and tricks for building technique and more!

When I teach violin, my lessons address students' performance goals while also emphasizing that the music-making experience should be about fun and enjoyment. I bring enthusiasm and curiosity to lessons as I facilitate students' musical growth.

I am classically trained in violin, I have 12 years of teaching experience, and I also have a degree and experience as a music therapist, so I am able to meet the student where they are and formulate a lesson plan around the specific needs of the student.
