About Carl

As far back as I can remember I have always enjoyed performing music. I can remember during my elementary school years how I would play drums during church service. Some days I would sneak in my dad's closet to play his saxophone. I began learning how to play saxophone in middle school and by the t

From the very first lesson, I could tell that Carl would be a excellent fit for my daughter. She has studied classical piano for six years and wanted to learn some different musical styles. He helped her turn her one finger hunt and peck gospel song into something that sounded like Sunday morning. And he's been so good about helping her find music she likes to play. Highly recommend!

Lance has the aura of a true teacher. I was able to feel comfortable around him immediately. After only a few lessons he has provided me with numerous tips and tricks to improve my singing voice, and tailored the class to keep it fun and incorporate music that students select personally. Highly recommend!

Lance is a master teacher across a range of skills. He's just as good teaching you to sing an interval as he is suggesting chord progressions or analyzing song structure. At every step of the way, he is patient and enthusiastic, and has concrete, useful ideas about how to get you from A to B.

My daughter has learned so much with Julia in the past few weeks. It's been a true pleasure to witness the progress. They have worked on sight reading, tone, physical posture, and many other aspects of singing and sound production. Julia is a very caring and supportive instructor. She is full of enthusiasm and humor, and this shows in her choice of singing materials. We look forward to having more lessons with her!

His big smile paired with his easy going personality is very inviting, and his ability to meet his student where they are and keep the lesson on track is where he shined in our session(s).
