He shares all of this with his students in an insightful and uniquely original manner. David is committed to helping students enjoy and excel in playing the music they love.

From age seven, I have performed piano at concerts and piano competitions, playing solo, in small groups or with orchestra. Studying piano performance at the School for Talented Children for eleven years and later at music conservatory, I was groomed to perform piano on stage. In short, I have the personal experience that I apply to teaching piano performance. Specifically, I teach my students how to memorize music pieces, how to develop proper phrasing and how to convey emotion and beauty of a particular piece to the audience. I also help students who want to obtain certificates from Associated Board of Royal School of Music (ABRSM) or Trinity College London (TCL) to excel in these examinations.
About Ruth
I have played piano since I was six years old, when my parents enrolled me in my first music classes. I continued my music education while going to elementary, middle, and high school. Ultimately, I graduated with a Master's Degree in Music from Butler University, located in Indianapolis, Indiana

me. Men, women, boys, & girls of all ages and various degrees of
achievement stand before their audience with confidence. They have
practiced, not only the pieces which they play, but showmanship, not
pushy or cocky, but polite and welcoming. They make eye contact and
smile; some invite the crowd to sing along on the choruses. Even the
1st year students exude confidence.
The crowd returns those smiles, along with cheers and clapping. One
can tell that Karen has kindly and persistently shown and encouraged
each student. If any show fear, she does not chide; she accompanies
them in the performance and nods approval as they continue. I watch
that fear subside. They are then met with handshakes and pats on the
back. Next time, they will be even more eager to share the pieces that
they worked on and not expect criticism.
Karen picks a theme and arranges guitar, piano, and voice selections,
intermingled into a program that leaves a person well entertained and
planning to come back next time. I am not related to any of the
participants and have no obligation to be at the recitals. I love the
music, the talent, and the progress that I see and hear. You, too,
will be glad you came."

Jill Good is an amazing music teacher for all ages and can connect with any student on both an intellectual and personal level. I work for Gradoux-Matt Rare Violins LLC and can absolutely assure that the first music teacher we recommend is Jill Good. I've seen her students' recitals and have been astonished at the progress each student shows from one performance to the next.
I started playing the violin at age 4 and while I have loved all my teachers, I still wish I had someone as brilliant as Jill instructing me. For any age, Jill Good is perfection."
