Talented teachers are rare. Like a great coach i sports... the coach doesn’t need to be the top athlete in his field to know how to teach each team member to hone their best abilities, he just has to know and see how to teach you how to get there. Being an outstanding teacher is a great talent all in itself... and that is Jesse. He has that quality and ability to lead, focus and take you where you want to go.

Jesse has given directions on how to successfully become a better musician. His approach and explanation on musical theories was much more understandable than what I was previously reading. Overall, I found the lessons to be very usefull.

She is amazing violinist and teacher. Best in Atlanta. She was trained by incredible violinists in Europe and I love her sense of humor. Don't settle for unqualified teachers, just listen to her recordings and read her qualifications. Four degrees... a doctorate etc.

Chris was very patient with me. I had special challenges due to be an older student that started later in life. We communicated very well--asking and answering questions. Chris knew how to help me as I am challenged with intonation. He did not let me slide which is an excellent quality in an instructor.

When I had questions or problems that we were not able to figure out between the two of us he went to his instructor to ask. He was not afraid to admit that he didn't know. He respected me as a scientist who had challenging questions.

Overall, I highly recommend Chris as an instructor for viola.

Chris is super knowledgeable, flexible to make lessons work over Skype, and attentive to make sure the lessons are tailored to what I am trying to learn as a growing pianist. I’ve had a great experience, grown a lot, and look forward to more lessons!

Since 2011, I've had the joy of teaching students how to play the violin to the best of their ability. From six year olds just starting out to adults in their 80s who want to learn just for fun, I've successfully taught the skills and techniques to make music on this beautiful instrument.

With a gentle, patient approach, I custom-tailor each lesson to the student's goals, interests, and abilities. Within that framework, I place an emphasis on proper position, technique and intonation. To provide a thorough and well-rounded music education, I also teach note reading, music theory, and ear-training. I do everything I can to make learning fun and engaging -- often using games, flashcards, and interactive exercises to teach certain concepts, especially for younger players. Complex skills are broken down into "bite-sized" pieces that are easy to understand. They are then layered on top of one another sequentially. Through it all, I provide students with steady encouragement and just the ...

About Vicky

Music has been a love of mine for as long as I can remember. When I was four years old, my mother put me in piano lessons. She added violin lessons when I was eight. After a year of studying both, I focused on violin as my principal instrument and soon fell in love with its sound. I took ten years

Ms. Vicky is an effective instructor because she meets the student where they are. Adult learners require a connection between prior knowledge and new information. Ms. Vicky successfully creates the connections I need to understand new concepts. Ms. Vicky is very patient. My violin background was a little questionable beforehand (primarily self-taught via YouTube), but having someone as talented and encouraging as Concetta tailoring a lesson plan specifically for me has already exponentially improved my technique. Your search for a teacher ends here. Five stars. :)"

"Travis has been my son's violin teacher for almost 2 years. My son new absolutely nothing about the instrument except that it spoke to his heart. Travis, who always has a big smile on his face, patiently brought my son from the first awkward finger positions to being able to stand in front of an audience at a party and confidently play three songs! Travis always comes on time. He is flexible and understanding when scheduling issues come up. And he is just an all around super nice guy. I would Highly recommend him!"
