My daughter is learning to play the violin. Bethany is extremely patient, kind and paces the lessons nicely. We'll continue to take lessons with Bethany.

The best thing for being sad," replied Merlin, beginning to puff and blow, "is to learn something. That's the only thing that never fails. You may grow old and trembling in your anatomies, you may lie awake at night listening to the disorder of your veins, you may miss your only love, you may see the world about you devastated by evil lunatics, or know your honour trampled in the sewers of baser minds. There is only one thing for it thenÂΒ” to learn. Learn why the world wags and what wags it. That is the only thing which the mind can never exhaust, never alienate, never be tortured by, never fear or distrust, and never dream of regretting. Learning is the only thing for you. Look what a lot of things there are to learn.

It has been a wonderful experience taking lessons with Anna. Learning to play the violin later in life can be a challenge for both teacher and student. Anna is a talented professional whose love for the violin blends seamlessly with her teaching style. She is a fantastic teacher who has taught me more about music and the violin than I ever expected.

I do not have ear for music nor have any prior knowledge on music. I was very skeptical so I was not really committed to it. But Anna understood my limitation and motivated me to see music in different way and now I love it. I have been taking classes with her now more than six months and hands down best Violin teacher. She is very patient, motivating, funny and most of all very talented and knows how to make music stick for non-musical people like me.
Thank you so much for introducing me to violin in a right way that now I like to play for playing.

My son had had three years of strings classes at school but was having trouble keeping up. Lauren was very encouraging and gave him some things to work on that I think will give him a much stronger foundation moving forward. She seems to be a great teacher, and I think the lessons with her will be just what he needs.

Having worked with Cheyenne as a performer and educator I can say she is one of the most reliable people I know. She always brings all of her focus and energy to the task at hand and won't stop until it is done. In the few years I've known her I've been continually impressed by her progress as a musician, I'm excited to hear more about her in the near future!

I've been teaching violin for over 20 years and my students have gone on to play in youth orchestras, attend PMEA and ASTA events or go to college as a music major. Within the first few lessons, you'll be able to improve your playing skills and as time goes on you'll be able to play at a more advanced level. I specialize in Traditional Classical violin, typically use Essential Elements 2000, Samuel Applebaum methods, Suzuki methods and traditional scales and etude books. I have the following tools available for your lessons: Metronome, Tuner, rosin and my music library. I love working with students of all ages and experience levels and I can't wait to meet you!

I have been playing the violin for over 9 years now and have led first violin sectionals in my high school orchestra for four years, giving me valuable experience in guiding students through very difficult passages of music and in teaching them advanced techniques. I am able to teach basic note reading, the basics of bow holding and posture, and all other aspects of introductory violin and music. I am learning to play other instruments right now, so I know what it is like to learn a new instrument, and I know the best ways to do so. Hopefully you'll let me share my knowledge with you!
