The mathematics of Music! I have a ton of experience studying music theory, I started when I was 12 when I wanted to learn how to improvise with my jazz saxophone. I was very lucky with the opportunities I had to learn music theory. I learned from two college educated jazz musicians before pursuing my own music education. While studying jazz studies and music business I studied both classical music theory and jazz theory quite extensively. Whether you want to become a composer, an improve soloist, or just improve your songwriting abilities, I can provide the knowledge and technical skill.

Training in traditional (tertian) harmony, from basic chord structure to more advanced concepts (like theory of tensions).

My music theory sessions are filled with scale & chord development. Interval & studying the staff, ear training and other picking techniques are all things learned by the student of all levels.
