Eric is a really great teacher! He is very patient with my 13 year old daughter, a beginner, during her lessons and always seems very supportive and enthusiastic as she slowly progresses from week to week. He is an accomplished musician himself and plays along with her to show her how something should sound. Eric has a nice laid back attitude, is very on target with my daughter's musical tastes and he has a great personality! I am very happy with his teaching methods and we hope to continue her lessons with him for the next few years.

Great instructor. Has a lot of background knowledge, which may be intimdating to some. But he does a good job of identifying strengths and weaknesses upon which to work.

Eric was great. He is obviously very knowledgeable but he is also easy to talk to and seemed to quickly understand what I knew and what I didn't. A good communicator and his set up for the lessons was very comfortable and easy to find. One hour lesson flew by!

My students range from children (8+ up) to adults to senior citizens. Whether you are brand new to playing the guitar or just want to brush up on the basics, you have found the right place. My objective is simple: Let's have fun!

I am flexible in my teaching style. If you want a more formal approach, I can teach you how to read music and play melodies & chords of some of your favorite songs. If formal is not your thing and you just want to learn to improvise, we can go there also.

I've been teaching guitar almost my entire adult life. Started in 1978 in my parents house and after that a couple of music stores. I'm now teaching in my home studio.

My teaching goals and curriculum will depend on the ability of the student and their knowledge of the instrument. It doesn't matter if they are at the beginner, intermediate or advance level, I have experience teaching all levels.

Most students want to learn how to play songs. I focus a great deal on learning how to use the proper technique to play all the chords needed to play the songs they would like to learn. If you want to learn how to read music and or play lead guitar I can teach that too.
I'm a professional guitarist and singer. I've been performing in bands none stop for over 30 years and I'm still performing on weekends with my two bands'. I teach practical guitar lessons that can be applied to building up for performance with a band or as a solo artist.
I'm also a song writer and piano player. ...

About Keith

I specialize in teaching and performing Country, Blues, Rock n Roll, Folk, Bluegrass even a little Jazz. I love many musical styles. I teach both Electric and Acoustic guitar playing. And I'm now offering a huge list of different types of lessons. Please make sure to visit my "Subjects". That's is

I've found Keith to be professional, good communicator and a great teacher for our 8 year old. He has patience and a real love for music and it shows. He is our first instructor so I don't have anything to compare him with but I do know people and feel great working with him. I forgot to mention, he has a little studio in his basement perfect for lessons.
I hope this helps anyone . Thx.

My method of teaching focuses on building up strengths and knowledge so that a student can become proficient at learning on their own. I do this by creating a custom curriculum for each individual I teach. This accomplishes two things, keeping you as a student entertained and enthusiastic. I have background in music theory, and have taught for several years to beginners, and intermediate students. This has allowed me to learn to adapt to each individuals learning style so that they progress quickly, and comfortably.

About Austin

Austin has been teaching music professionally since 2018. He has helped students find passion in music, prepare for performances, pass classes, and overcome stage fright. Austin has taught several kids with autism, creating a learning environment best suited for them. Giving them the opportunity to

Really good experience learning a new instrument. He really helped accelerate the early stages of playing an unfamiliar instrument so that I could start playing actual songs much quicker.

Austin is awesome! He really has amazed us. Our kids have nothing but progressed since taking lessons and they performed wonderfully at their recital. He is always present, provides feedback, and is just good with the kids. What can I say? We highly recommend him. He is now teaching our kids virtually which has been a seamless transition. Thank you Austin for all that you do!

Austin makes such a big difference in my son's life. He enjoys learning to play the piano and he enjoys the conversations they have together. Austin is very patient and takes the time to make sure Jayke understands what and why he is learning a piece. Jayke has autism - not that this should make a difference - but it does. Kids with autism have poor focus, lack motivation, struggle alternating tasks, and have poor communication skills. I'm not sure if he would stick with playing if it wasn't for Austin. He never makes Jayke feel discouraged or inadequate when he doesn’t get a song right away. His motivation and kind words keep my son wanted to learn.

Matt's a great instructor with a holistic approach to music. His experience helped shape the way I think about the guitar beyond just the technicality — teaching me to focus on concept and creative intent. His appreciation for a wide range of styles also encouraged me to explore more interesting phrasing and develop my own style.

I was a relatively aimless player and Matt showed me how to apply myself to music. Highly recommended!

Matt really helped me with my guitar playing. He patiently went over the basics with me and let me go at my own pace, using songs I like to help me improve my technique, confidence, and knowledge of scales and chords.

Brian has been great! My son really enjoys lessons with Brian. Before the pandemic my son attended in person lessons. I sat through the lessons outside the door and Brian was amazing. He had lots of patience with kids. He explains the lesson thoroughly! Anthony learned allot from him. Now because of the pandemic Emmy son does online classes with Brian. Which seems as if they are in person lessons. Anthony responds to Brian. After each lesson Brian follows through with suggestions, and homework for Anthony to practice through the week! It has been a real pleasure working with Brian! I would definitely recommend Brian. He’s great!

Brian is a great instructor, always offering great tips for practice, and songs that fit the appropriate level of experience. Would highly recommend!

I'm 10 years old. I started lessons with Brian 1.5 years ago. He's an awesome teacher. He's very good at making guitar concepts easy for me to understand. He's very patient. I started lessons in person, and when quarantine started, we did lessons online. Brian is great at teaching both online and in real life.

"Super talented, yet super down to earth. Great teacher and ridiculously knowledgeable, yet super funny. I had been a self taught bass player for years before taking Charles' course at NYU and was hoping to try out a new instrument and learn it the "right way" through lessons, expecting things to be very academic. But Charles works in a way that is surprisingly individual-based, and so that while you do learn a lot, you do so at your own pace and having fun along the way. By blending your own formal course goals with his own knowledge and incredible feel for the instrument alongside the songs you want to learn (often times you learn them together- he is great at picking up new, unfamiliar tunes by ear) it creates an experience that keeps you picking up the guitar long after you leave the classroom. Where I am now with guitar and where I started at first are miles and miles apart thanks to him, and he's just a super chill guy who likes playing guitar. Who also happens to be ridiculously qualified. 10/10 would recommend."

5 Guitar Gadgets That Will Change Your Life

When you're a beginner learning the guitar, does brand name matter?  For the basics, an inexpensive (but still quality!) instrument is completely fine, and can offer you a great starting point. Ultimately, the difference between a $100 guitar and a more expensive guitar can be subjective - it all comes down to what you prefer and what your end goals are. On the other hand, there are some added accessories that can make a huge impact on your playing, no matter how much you shelled out for you …
