I am a string specialist. That means I teach and play violin, viola, cello, double bass, guitar, bass guitar, mandolin, ukulele and piano. I earned B.A. earned from the University of Northern Colorado, Greeley Colorado where I was a double major in classical guitar and double bass. In my senior year I was the recipient of the Annual Concerto Contest where I performed the "Concerto in A Major" on double bass with the University orchestra for the spring concert. I have played in both professional and semi-professional orchestras in Colorado and Arizona. I believe that any student will practice more if he or she likes the music they are playing. Periodically I will ask a student to give me a name of a piece of music that they would like to learn how to play. I notate it for them, often simplifying the rhythm and chords in Finale NotePad and give it to them free of charge. I teach students how to play music on their given instrument. I am a professional cellist with a graduate degree in music and extensive performing and teaching experience. I look forward to working with you or your child to help accomplish your goals and have fun making music! Lessons are tailored to each students needs and abilities, and I have vast experience working with students of all ages and abilities, from elementary students to college students. I teach online and in-person lessons.

I can provide private lessons for beginner-intermediate level violin and viola students who are in elementary-middle school. I also provide beginner-advanced cello lessons for students of all ages.

I am a classically trained cellist and have been teaching for the past 8 years. I have a Master’s degree and a Post Graduate Degree in Music Performance, with emphasis in cello. I have played with top orchestras like the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra, Boston Pops, and have played with musicians such as Yo-Yo Ma. When teaching, I strive to find the right balance between technique (which is key to improving), and other aspects of music such as musicality, historical context and performance practice. I have taught people of all ages and levels, and love sharing my passion for cello with each one of my students!

I have been teaching cello privately for over 40 years! I teach and have taught beginners of all ages up to university students. I enjoy teaching young children and have a full studio of adult learners. My specialty is the Suzuki method, but I teach using a wide variety of materials. I have a Master's degree in Cello Performance, and have an active playing career of orchestra, chamber music, and solo performance. I run my own chamber music business.

I have more than 18 years of experience teaching, all ages. I teach beginners and Advanced students. I work with different books, depends on the level of the student, Essentials, Suzuky, Dotzauer, Klengel scales, Duport, Popper, Piatti, Sonatas, Concertos like Vivaldi, Saint Saenz, Bocherini, Haydn C and D, Dvorak, Lalo, and much more, i also prepare the kids for Recitals, All State and Competitions.
