Pamela is great, very professional and welcoming. This was my daughter's first voice lesson ever and she was super excited when it was over. Looking forward to the next lesson. Highly recommended.

I have had a vocal coach before meeting Pam, but she absolutely took it to another level. Pamela does a good job with teaching the mechanics of singing, as she pin points which muscles the body is using and how to use them properly when singing. She has a variety of warm ups and stretches to get your voice and body prepared to perform and is very good and pushing you to become your best. If you are a serious singer and would like to take the knowledge of your craft a step further, I would definitely recommend.

We met Katie a few months ago and we’re so glad we did! She is kind, compassionate and patient. She has taught my daughter how to expand her vocal range and she is helping to boost her confidence by encouraging her to perform on stage. I really feel that my daughter has greatly improved since she started lessons with Katie and I know she’s only going to get better with Katie as her coach. Finally I just have to add that Katie has a beautiful voice. The first time I heard her sing I got chills and when she sang at a group performance I actually got teary eyed. Her voice moved me because she had so much emotion and that’s exactly the kind of coach I want for my daughter.

Mrs. Sherman is a wonderful music teacher. My daughter started in her class at preschool when she was 2 years old. She was shy and timid but Sherman’s music class really helped her shine. She loves singing and playing the piano! She’s got amazing rhythm and Sherman really helped bring that out in her. Sherman has such great talent and the teaching skills to go with it. She’s great with children and it shows much she enjoys what she does

Sylivan is a great teacher with great personality. He was there to help me not only when I struggled with music and guitar but also when I felt down. "I have had the pleasure of playing in very complex musical collaborations with Suzan G. a couple of times recently and am thrilled to find out that she is a teacher with Takelessons. I am a TL music teacher, and having seen her live and in person and discussed the theory of the music we are performing, I can highly recommend her.

Suzan is thoroughly knowledgable about music theory and composition and movement. Her piano skills are excellent especially when seen in the arena of jazz improve composition on the fly with a group of professionals. She can sight read complicated charts and sing beautifully at the same time, for songs she has never done, and these are the challenges that true musicians thrive upon.

As a TL teacher of children also, I can see that Suzan is very family friendly and cheerful, kind and helpful. All good signs of an excellent teacher! Your Kids will love her.

Way to go, Suzan, and keep up the great work!"

"Since I was in high school, I’ve always wanted to develop my skills as a piano player, drummer, or guitarist. I had a ways to go, and Greg was assigned to help me grow in our youth worship team. Out of the years I spent there, Greg was the best teacher I had! Hands on training, coherent instructions, and constructive feedback from our sessions were what made me into the musician I am today. Greg Campbell is the best!"

"This teacher works to bring out the possible best in a person. She provides constructive criticism when needed but also makes you feel you are learning and progressing under her instructions. She took a shy, quiet person and turned him into someone who is learning that it can be fun to perform for live audiences and how good it feels to express a talent you always wanted to share with others but were not sure you had it in you to do so. I greatly love and respect this teacher."

"Tom is an amazing music instructor! My review won’t even scratch the surface of explaining what a fantastic teacher he is! Tom has taught our 4 children since 2008 when they started at School of Rock (SOR). When Tom left SOR and started giving private lessons, we left SOR because we saw the value Tom gave our children. He does a great job of challenging his students, yet keeping it interesting for them. (He's still teaching our kids after 6 years; they never get bored with his lessons and look forward to them every week!) Tom also does a fantastic job of blending music theory into everything he teaches. Our oldest child has a passion for music, and is now studying music at Berklee College of Music in Boston. Tom played a huge part in our son getting into Berklee and giving him the skills he needs to succeed while there. I recommend Tom to any level of student. He is simply the best!"
